2 cats need home for 6 months by
John Moran
Hi there
We are planning a 6 month trip around the world
and have 2 very cute cats who, at the moment, we
can't find a home for.
We were wondering if there was some kindly
soul - preferably in the south London area - who
would be willing to look after them while we are
away. We will of course...

agressive male cat problems by
Henry Cabot Henhouse III
A year ago, we adopted a male and female, 4ish months old, both fixed,
brother and sister, and have raised them as indoor only pets. The female
has always been playful, cuddly, and when she gets "stuff" stuck in the fur
around "that" area, she doesn't put up much of a fuss when we clean her...

Kate
I managed to kill the odor in one room of my house- with removal of
the carpet, lots of enzymer, lots of oil-based Kilz- but now those
little ...... are using another two spots. they had used them
previously, but not heavily, but now one carpet is destroyed and will
be replaced in a couple weeks. ...

Stupid pet (owner?) guardian trick by
Craig Petersen
I would like to know "who" this woman is so I can file animal abuse
charges against her. People this idotic do not deserve to have pets
period! Furthermore, I would like to see more people refer to the term
"guardian" rather than "owner". "Ownership" implies that your pet is an
inanimate object...

Advice please? by
Dooies B.B
Sorry to cross post but I have a bit of a dilema.
My cat is now 15 and a half, and although she still eats, drinks, toilets,
and sleeps, she does little else. I know she has some discomfort from her
lower back, and probably kidney problems. Other than that and her increased
laziness she seems...

How to clean smell from (ugh!) non-box ****/pee area (4ft x 8ft)? by
David Combs
ok -- have been keeping cat locked into (large) room
with adjoining bathroom, where cat-box is.
While locked up, and *only* while locked up, he
does indeed use the cat box.
Maybe 4 days thus far.
QUESTION: how to clean-smells from the "illegal" place
he had, maybe three weeks ago, start using. ...

Help! - Have a Bunch of Cats Living in an Old Car by
Buzz Lopper
I have an old car way back on the back of our yard/property. There are
at least 15-20 cats living in it. Some of them look to be fairly
healthy. I'd like to get rid of them. I assume I could just take them
all to the pound, but it would be a lot of trouble to somehow round
them all up. How can I...

Stupid pet owner trick (Top Post) by
AWriteny
In response to the post about the outrageous clip from the tv show "What Were
You Thinking"...Not only did they air a clip about a cat who was thrown from a
surfboard, but they also showed a situation where a group of idiots were
rope-tying crabs (like a cowboy would do at a rodeo). One crab...

Am I the Alpha Cat? by
Helen Miles
Unlike dogs, eye contact is not a dominance signal. Rather, it is a
signal of friendship, as it is in humans.
Orchid
Sorry, but I beg to differ. In cats eye contact is a threat. If you star
at a cat you are deliberately intimidating it. In the wild, a dominant
cat will stare at a rival,...
