kitty safari by
Ken Phifer
I recently borrowed the video "Kitty Safari"...Do your cats respond
to this video or do they ignore it? Do older cats respond more readily
than kittens?
Thanks

Mathew Kagis
Chablis seems to be back to normal. Energy level is back up, appetite is
normal, limp is all but gone & she's wrestling with her little 'brother'

Back to normal by
Mathew Kagis
Chablis seems fully recovered from her injuries. I was still watching her
pretty closely the last few days, as she was sleeping more than normal.
Which is saying alot for a kitten.
But, as of now, there has been no re-occurence of the limp, no further
signs of infection & her appetite is right...

Good news at last - Happy Christmas! by
sarah
If you read my recent posts despairing of my CRF cat's renal problem and
recent crisis you'll recall how worried I was when she refused to eat the
diet after her hospitalisation. She was eating nothing at all and I gave her
Whiskas for about a week just to get her to eat.
Well the good news was...

On the first visit, they did a CBC, etc and found nothing,...

a spaying problem by
elocs
I have always had all of my animals neutered, including a number of
cats.
I believe it is the responsible thing to do and good for the pets'
health. I know all the arguments for spaying, but I have a good friend
who has got a 7 month old female and says she will not have it spayed
because she is...

Chinese live markets feed the fur trade
"Much of the fur on the streets now is cat, dog, or rabbit from southern or
coastal China. This cat is safe at the Beijing Human' &Animal Environmental
Education Centre, a first-rate shelter, far from the regions where cats are

correction! fur vs. dander vs. saliva by
Monique Y. Mudama
In a recent post, I said that a doctor had been skeptical of my allergen
knowledge. I had a brainfart. He was skeptical about my statement that cat
allergies have as much to do with *saliva* as they do with dander; not that
they had as much to do with dander as fur. If that makes sense.
