LMAO! by
Helen Miles
Lilly discovered "The other kitten in the mirror" this afternoon. I had
forgotten just how funny kittens are. For about an hour, we've had full
blown "halloween kitten hissy-puff-up" at herself in the long mirror in
my study. She's mortified that the other cat won't run away. *VBG*

Kitten Farts... by
Helen Miles
Lily got into my thai stir fry this evening. I put it down on the table
whilst I went and got a beer from the kitchen, and came back to find her
getting well and truly stuck in.
My GOD!!! I *NEVER* knew that Thai spices could make a kittens backside
so TOXIC. Infact, toxic doesn't even cover it....

Anyone want a kitten? ;o) by
Helen Miles
It seems that the house has become infested by a particularly nasty
batch of kitten greeblings that only Lily, as a kitten, is able to see.
She's driving us all NUTS trying to kill them single pawed.... and I
really didn't realise that my computer and study were so badly infested!
She's tried to...

Sqeaky mouse YAHHHH!!!! by
Helen Miles
One of Lilys christmas presents from Claire who babysat her over
Christmas, was a catnip furry/felt mouse that squeaked realistically
when Lily bit it. Only Claire didn't tell me it sqeaked when she droped
it off with Lily.
Last night, Madam Mischief was playing with her sqeaky mouse....

Wish Robbie Luck!!! by

Please can Robbie have some prayers and purrs for a safe journey?? He's
flying from Washington Dulles to London Heathrow this evening on Virgin
Atlantic VS022 at 19:15. He arrives in London at 07:05 tomorrow morning
where I'll pick him up from the Heathrow Animal Reception Centre.
He's passed all...

Robbie update by
Helen Miles
I have literally just spoken to the Animal Reception Center at Heathrow,
and they said that Robbie arrived safely about 15 minutes ago. He's
having his paperwork & microchip checked by the DEFRA vet now, and has
been put into a kennel with a litterbox, bed, food and water to just
catch up on...

Home in one piece :o)) by
Helen Miles
Hi folks,
I've collected him and we're home. :o)
I have to say that Virgin Atlantic were EXCEPTIONALLY GOOD in their
handling of Robbie. There was also a pet dog on Robbies flight, who like
Robbie, is scared of men. Virgin staff at Washington Dulles contacted
London Virgin staff who arranged for...

Ping Victor and all UK catslaves... by
Helen Miles
Now Victor and Tom have decided to come to good old blighty.... (You're
stuck with it now Victor! ;o)) Can I please have a role call of who
would be likely to pitch up? Judging by the number of us there is likely
to be, it might be worth us thinking about booking a resturant. I know
several fun,...

Please could my dad have some purrs? by
Helen Miles
Please could my dad have some purrs today? He will be having a
particularly ****ty day at work, as he has been tasked by his superiors
to undertake a particularly distasteful task that he feels very, very
badly about, but has no choice in undertaking it.
Obviously I can't go into details, but it...

And then we were 5... by
Helen Miles
Talking to my folks over the holiday, it seems that things could change
radically this year for my dad. He may be asked to leave Washington DC
earlier than he origionally thought (which was Oct 2006) so that his job
skills can be used back in Europe by his employer. He is no longer
planning to...

GAS GAS GAS!!!! (Gag warning) by
Helen Miles
Lilly Whiskers has a completely toxic ass. She is the only cat I know
who can use the litter box and everyone, including the dog, runs for
cover. Infact, her poop is *SO* toxic, she could single pawed replace
the UK biological warfare capeability. I know what it is (she's
currently in the process...

Rrrrwwwarrr I'm a TIGER!! by
Helen Miles
I am sure that Lilly-Whiskers thinks that she is a HUGE Tiger in a tiny
body. She has so much spark and enthusiasm for life. At 2lbs, she's
still small enough for my hand to fit under her body and pick her up,
but the way she carries on, you'd think she was a 500lb Siberian Tiger!
Last night, we...

DC area RPCA-ers by
Helen Miles
Folks,
At Christmas time we'll be having a RPCA/Catslaves meet-up. About 8
people have contacted me so far to say they're interested in hooking up.
Last time we did it, it was a lot of fun. So...if you're in the DC area
and fancy joining in, and you haven't already expressed an interest,
please...

Obnoxious little turd.... by
Helen Miles
Lilly-Whiskers has found a new use for my legs. I am an "interactive
climbing tree". She charges at me as fast as her little legs will carry
her, and tries to see how far up my body she can get.
It was cute the first time she did it and reached my shoulder, although
it hurt like hell. After the...

Lilly Whiskers TED update. by
Helen Miles
Lilly went to the TED this afternoon. It seems that the end of her tail
hasn't lost its skin/degloved as such, it is just so very sore and it's
thicker scar tissue than you'd normally get. The vet said keep a close
eye on it, and if it doesn't heal then they'll remove a tiny portion of
her tail to...

LMAO!!! by
Helen Miles
Bonnie, my d*g is 100% with cats. All she does is wash them. They don't
particularly like it, but she'd never hurt one.
HRFL Tiger has worked out that all the other cats in the area are
terrified of her, because she's a "strange dog", i.e., they don't know
her. HRFL uses this to its maximum...

Lily and the Xmas tree by
Helen Miles
I recieved an email from my friend Claire, who is babysitting
Lily-Whiskers over Xmas for me.... She told me the following and sent me
some pictures. It seems like Lily has had fun this Xmas!
"Well, Mistress Mischief has finally succeeded in her mission to topple
the Christmas tree, while...

HRFL Tiger and I have just watched a very interesting programme on TV
about the phenomena of the company Google, and how it seems to have
taken over the internet as a search engine.
HRFL Tiger would like everyone to know that it is a company obviously
run by a cat as only they would have the...
