Forgot one question (thanks for all answers so far). I come across
suggestions that cats should be given "treat" once in a while. In human

Re-covering a scratching post? by
queenbee
Hi, does anyone have any advice on re-covering a scratching post? My cats
(2) have a nice post that they adore. It's got an upright post covered in
carpet, a slanted post covered in sisal, and a curved part on top they can
lie in. I don't want to get them another post because a.) these posts are
SO...

Which litter an tray is best by
Rach
Hi every1,
I was just wondering if anyone had any views on which type of litter (clay,
wood, catsan, silica) is best to use.
AND which kind of litter tray? Has anyone tried the 'self-cleaning ones'?
I have one kitten (he is 10 weeks old).
Any thoughts will be a great help

attack of the kitten by
Rach
Hi,
I have a siamese kitten - he is only about 10 weeks old and is going through
an 'attacking everything' period. I know hes playing and learning to hunt,
but im starting to look like a scratching post :(
Does anyone have any idea how long this stage lasts?
Thanks for any thoughts.

Rach
Hi Jeffrey,
I also have a 12 week old kitten, and he's pretty much the same (or was).
See my post a few messages down (Attack of the Kitten). I think that they go
through a learning to hunt stage and pounce on everything at about this age.
The suggestions given by everyone in this ng were really...

Four-Legged Footprints lead their way to Wag Hotels.... by
[email protected]
Elegant swimming pool, yummy food, spacious lobby and 24 x 7 service
hours charmed me to Wag. My pet's too happy to see the other members
around. I'd heard of Wag before but I wasn't motivated enough to try
it out. But this video helped me decide that my dog goes to Wag Hotels
& no more of...

cats outside at night by
Ray Ban
Are cat's coats thick enough to keep them warm outside at night
(temperature in the 45 degree range)? How about inside an unheated
garage?

My oldest cat, Shadow, is almost seven years old and is the alpha cat in the
household. The other cats have never tried to take that status from him.
The problem I am having is that he continually kinda mounts and bites my
oldest female cat, Ebby (she's almost seven also, they grew up together),...

Siamese kitten coloring by
Rhonda
Does anyone know about siamese kitten coloring? I've read that they are
born white, because their coloring is heat-sensitive. After a while,
their points turn darker, and bodies turn creamy-colored.
We took in an adult stray cat who was very pregnant. She gave birth last
week. Two of the kittens...
