Thanks everyone, one more question by
GrapplerGurl
Just want to thank everyone for the calming words about George under
the bed. Yes, he's eating well, everything is fine, he just likes
chillin' under the bed. I do have another question I'd like to ask,
I've bought George 16 2inch furry mice over the last 5 months, I can't
find any of them. I've...

Thanks Cheryl & Annie! by
blair thompson
Thanks much for your responses to my request for clarification
on scratch post makeovers. Will be helpful when I am ankle-deep in
carpet fluff and finally have to tackle the rebuilding job :).
Will look for "Liquid Nails" as well, though a non-chemical fastener
(staples) might be safer to use....

Hi,
Thank you all for your comforting words on the loss of my cat, Isis. I'd
love to post her photo here but I know it's not allowed.

Well, if you are not aware of it yet, AOL is cancelling usenet as part of their
service.
No reasons why.

Thank you everyone...my sweet baby girl passed away by
DaniellaY
Thank you all so much for your responses to my postings. I have not posted
here in several weeks, all my free time has been devoted to my little
Delilah...lying/cuddling with her, petting, brushing, medicating and
occasionally bathing when necessary and lots of cleanup. Aside from my job...

Thank you and an update! by
Jackie
Hello :)
I wanted to thank everybody that replied to my post about an abandoned kitten
on Thursday. I truly appreciate all the advice and informative links. I decided
on Thursday, just as it was getting dark, to bring the sweet little kitten into
my house. I estimate the age to be about 10 days to...

Thank you all so much by
cybercat
for your condolences and words of support. They really do mean a lot.
It is weird around here, and I think it will be worse over the next few
days. She had such a strong personality. She is the only cat I have been
around who was hand raised from a kitten, very different than the adults I
have...

Just a quick word of thanks to all in the group that gave advice on the spay
surgery. Delilah came through with flying colours and is now home resting.
Stella seemed to know that her older sister was not herself and has been
very gentle with her.
Just as a sidenote, we went for the laser surgery...

tests to confirm CRF diagnosis? (long) by
Nadia N.
Kotyo is almost 9 years old. He's a big cat with lots of muscles, weighs
6 kg. He does not show any of the usual symptoms of CRF - he has a great
appetite, his coat is silky and soft, he is playful and perky. Two weeks
ago he showed signs of some pain while eating - he was pawing at his
mouth...

Testing for FeLV and FIV - question by
Mikey
How long should I wait to test a cat after it's possibly been exposed
to FeLV and FIV? I would hate to get a false negative because I had
the test done too soon.

Testing blood sugar by
Richard Evans
We have an elderly diabetic cat and it's been a real chore testing his
blood sugar. It often takes 4-5 sticks to his ear to get a drop of
blood. I recenly stumbled on a technique that works every time.
While my wife holds him still, I insert my thumb in his ear such that
the ear is backed by the...
