Itchy skin by
PattyM
I have a kitty, about 8 years old, who has seemingly very itchy skin.

legs and her lower abdomen. We have always treated her (and our other
cat) for fleas monthly with Frontline, and we have changed her food to
a no-wheat,...

Cat wets my bed :( by
Robotech_Master
My cat keeps wetting my bed.
Repeatedly.
This is Diva, the "alpha" female of my house.
The first time it happened was a couple weeks back. Actually, I think
she (or one of the cats) threw up on it.
The second time was the weekend before last, when I was away at a

Feline Cushings by

Hi,
My cat has cushings disease. He is responding well to treatment. I was
wondering if there is anyone else out there dealing with this disease
and I wanted to know what kind of treatment you were pursuing.
Thanks

Gentaved and Prednisolone combo for skin problem? by
Wilbur Post
Rather than try another shot of Depo Medrol for my 9 year old female
longhair (last one was three months ago), our vet replaced Tresaderm with
Gentaved and added 5 mg/day of Prednisolone to try and stop the licking
which is either the cause or the effect of her hind leg sores.
Anyone have...

Cat Bites & Tetanus Shots by
Cat Protector
I have heard that if you get bitten by a cat that you might need a tetanus
shot, is this true? I have the opportunity to get a tetanus shot for free so
I thought I would ask.

Opinions on ear-thermometer accueracy by
Poe
Hello.
I have a sick cat who I've been monitoring vitals several times daily
(he's been sick or going on 2 weeks now, in and out of the vet, tests,
IVs, etc. - still working thru it). I have trouble using a rectal
thermometer without help holding him, so when I am alone I've been using

Some younger sweet elbows will truly believe the farmers. Well, go

Stomatitis + Azithromycin - Phil? by

Phil,
regarding my foster cat with stomatitis, I am going to start him on
zithro next week as he is really not doing well (guess the interferon
was a waste of money, but it was worth a try). I remember when I
treated my own cat a few years ago, the vet compounded and liquified
the medication and I...

Cat back from vets query? by

Hi guys,
My cat has just been to the vets to have his teeth cleaned. Before I
took him in his sister went in for the same treatment. When she
returned he started to hiss at her at first - but after a day or so he
seemed to become really depressed and hardly ate anything. He looked
really unwell -...
