Getting over the death of a loved one by
lue
It has been over a year now since I lost my precious kitty named
Bacardi. It broke my heart the day she was hit by a car, and everyday
since. How do you get over something that you love so much? I've
recently adopted another cat and named her Phoebe, now she is
everything to me, but I still...

Stray cat by

I live on a mountain in the Catskills in N.Y. State---- Last year a
grey striped kitten with a spotted underside wandered out of the woods.
Extreemly rural area with the nearest home about a mile away. We first
allowed her to live in the gagage and fed her there. As the weather got
colder she...

flying cats from Canada to UK by
Steve
Hi
I moved back to the UK from Canada a few months ago and am now almost
ready to bring my cats over, having had them vaccinated, etc. Does
anyone know which airline would be able to fly them over from Winnipeg
to Gatwick or any other London airport? Any idea of the cost?
Tx, Steve

Our 4 Year Year Old Kitty Died Out of the Blue!!!! by
MOSFET
Hello to all.
We have had a terrible family tragedy. Our most beloved cat, Austin, dies
suddenly yesterday for no apparent reason. He had been acting perfectly
normal and loving like he always does. I went to take a nap (as I often do
on Sunday's) and Austin always lays next to me when I do. ...

CAT KILLINGS IN WISCONSIN by
mewzaq
So far, 4 cats have been reported murdered execution style in Sheboygan,
WI. Did you know that they are trying to make it legal to hunt or kill
(in any fashion) feral and stray cats in Wisconsin? This would mean that
it would be open season on all cats without a collar and you know damn
well that...

Lost Cat by

Prayer request for our missing cat named Buffo. He was last seen on
April 18th Monday at 8 p.m. He's not a type of cat to stay outdoor too
long for no more than 1/2 an hour. He still has not come home for 2
nights. =A0 We looked everywhere for him and calling him by name and no
sign of him yet. We...

Pest repellents: would they work on cats? by
Karen M.
Hi folks--
Trying to train a former feral by absentia here. My father brings a
favorite into the house, but doesn't offer any guidance about tabletops
or potted plants.
The main entrance has a sunken planter; concrete floor, white
granite rocks. Several generations of visiting mongrels used the...

ferals by

I live in a area of townhouses. There is a small group of feral cats
that live in the area.I feed them and have a nice place outside for
them to shelter. I feel that I want to do more for them but I'm really
stumped. First of all, they live in a common area and they are
technically the...

How Cats view Humans by
Josh
I've heard that cats view us as large cats, rather than themselves as
small humans.
But then, why do they freak out at new, unknown cats, but tolerate
(and even enjoy) the company of new, unknown humans? It would seem
that if their view was that we're all cats of differing sizes, then
their...

I recently borrowed the video "Kitty Safari"...Do your cats respond
to this video or do they ignore it? Do older cats respond more readily
than kittens?
Thanks

Does anyone know about this Smurggling(SP) My cat loves to 'kneed' certain

Cats with Earrings by
Ruby Tuesday
I went to the museum the other day, and saw a reproduction of Bast, sitting
there with an earrings in her ears. I'm wondering, did the ancient
Egyptians
put earrings in their cats' ears? (No, I have no plans on starting a new
trend.)
Thanks,
- Ruby Tuesday
