Remembering Samantha (RB) by Dan M
My brother has always been a dog-guy, but the elderly cat he inherited from our grandmother really stole his heart. When Samantha had to journey to the Bridge 2 years ago, he was devastated. Tonight I'm joining him at his place for the 2nd annual Samantha Memorial Bonfire. Should be interesting to...

OT - More job fun by Dan M
Seems like an awful lot of us catfolks are having job issues! I suspect that I'm going to end up back in a truck before the end of the year. I really love getting home every night and earning a decent living, but these people are going to drive me crazy. The customers I have to support are idiots,...

Cheek to Cheek :o) by Christine Burel
I don't know how many of you rpca folk have had this experience with your masters but last night I feel I finally reached the equivalent of the highest reward a catslave can have bestowed upon them. I was lying on the sofa watching TV as I often do in the evening and Tucker decided to pay me a...

I touched Bruver! by Shirley2307
While maMA and Bruver were eating on the bench this morning, I just kept creeping closer. Slowly put my hand on the bench rail. He jumped down but came right back (for food). While he was eating, I just brushed my finger across his fur. He didn't love it and jumped down once, but he didn't run...

No Postings by Bev
Lois and I have been unable to get postings from the group since she posted her message about Cleo. I see it is the last one to come in on my list. However I now see that Adrian answered her post but there are no others. I don't know if this will post but am giving it a try. Cleo is very...

B*st*rd cat trick by Adrian A
A little while ago I wondered where Baggy had got to, he was very quiet and I couldn't see him anywhere. I got up and searched the house and still didn't see him. I went back to the room I started in, and there he was, sitting in my chair looking smug. -- Adrian (Owned by Snoopy and Bagheera) Cats...

Update on Cleo - not good news by Lois
Took Cleo back to the vet this morning, she has stopped eating again. It appears that her renal failure is very advanced, have left her there so TED can rehydrate her, he said the outlook is not good and she may have seizures with the build up of toxins in her body. We will pick her up later...

A new huntress in the family by Marina
Some of you may remember that my Nikki was a fierce huntress who didn't balk at diving into the water to catch a water vole. In a good vole year, she would bring me five or six voles a day, and eat maybe half of them (three, or more often, half of each of the six :oP). This summer, Miranda...

Boyfriend's hiding places by Christina Websell
Are gone. Kitty has discovered them. He used to escaped upstairs to snooze on the spare bed away from her but she has found it and plonks herself on it. And grins. She has also found out that his most beloved place - on top of the freezer in the conservatory with a blanket on top is very...

Stopped in my tracks by Pat
Every time I come upon Eli laying on his back with his legs in the air, I am stunned anew by the recent change in his character, and have to sit down and watch him sleep, while doing my best to keep from reaching out and rubbing that black belly. But I can never hold off for very long. Even the...

Cruising: visit w/ Pam & Rob by Annie Wxill
Pam and Rob have left Genesis and are driving home. We enjoyed the visit immensely and were happy to provide a mini-vacation for the Shirks. It seems mighty quiet here now. Cinder is sleeping on the bed and hugging the catnip snake Pam made for her. Rosie is napping in her den. Cinder did her...
