John Sandy
I have 2 stray male (and neutered) cats that my grandkids names Cutie
Pie and Whiskers. When they appeared about 2 years ago with their
mother in my back yard and stuck around, I contacted the local Cat
Coalittion who came out and caught the kittens (but we never could catch
Mom). Now the policy...

Getting Urine smell out of wood by
Mike S.
I have a scratching post problem which is a little complicated so I'll
try to make a long story short.
I need a vertical (up and down) scratching post for one of my cats. The
ones I see in the stores are too short, too big, or too expensive. I
absolutely cannot make my own and can't find anyone...

Science Diet formula changes? by
Elizabeth Blake
Stinky has always eaten Science Diet Light, both dry & canned. For the past
two months or so she's been on canned only. A couple of weeks ago my boss
brought over a case of the SD Light for Stinky and I noticed the cans said
something like "cooked in savory juices". The texture is...

A whole day with no sign of the bitch Mary, the rabid dog L., or
any of the Cheryl's hackerwannabe suckups?

I Don't Believe it!!!!!!!! by
Ruby Tuesday
Something unusual was happening. Usually when Mico goes to pee in the
litterbox, it makes a certain sound. But today I heard the tinkle of water,
and went to see what was happening. I was hoping he wasn't peeing into the
sink. Well lo and behold, he was perched on the toilet seat with his...

Updates on various kitties in my life by
Candace
4 kitty updates and a bonus:
1. Abbey, my 4 yr. old girl kitty diagnosed with chylothorax in May.
She's doing great! Her fur has all grown back from having her sides
shaved to drain her chest, she runs, jumps, plays, does all her old
tricks. You would never know she had a problem unless you...

My little cat Charlotte died a few days ago having endured through her

allergy to tuna and years of neomercazole possibly resulting in
lymphoma of her gut, and ultimately liver failure. A few years ago our

What to do at night by
Nick Kasoff
We have two cats. One jumps up on the bed at night and walks all over
us, making it impossible to sleep, but will leave us alone if shut out
of the bedroom. The other is good when in our bedroom, but if we shut
the door, will pound on it about six times during the night wanting to
come and go. We...

Hey all. I've posted a few times about my cat Reggie, who had eye
problems. Well, we finally (after a month's wait!) got in to a
specialist who said that Reggie had a geographical ulcer on his eye
brought on by herpesvirus. Crap. She gave him some pills and we
started him on Lycene...

Tuna Juice Okay? by
Chris
Hello Group!
My cats are 5 and 6, good health so far, healthy weight. They
eat canned and dry.
I use canned tuna in salads and in my son's lunch and the
cats love to drink the juice.
Is this okay for them, maybe three times a week, the juice
from one can each?

Can anyone in the Bergen County area of New Jersey recomend A Doctor
