Off for a few days by
Victor Martinez
I'm off to Mexico to spend a few days with the family. I should be able
to check in the group a couple of times (I think my mom has dial-up),
but just in case I want to wish all of you a great holiday season! I'll
be thinking of all of you and purring for those in need.

Thank you for the purrs. by
Jo Firey
Jake decided to take off last night. He zipped outside when Charlie got up
to take the dog out to pee and we could not get him back in. Left the
garage part way open but he still had not come home this morning.
I haven't been on the group today so didn't get a chance to write and ask
for purrs,...

Wow! This is one chatty NG by
Sam Nash
Just got back from 3 weeks off (vacation). When I got the 'puters powered
back up and connected to the Net, I was informed that there were 4,280
unread messages (just from RPCA). Sorry folks, but I just had to plonk 'em.
I just don't have the time (darn RL) to go through them all. So purrs...

"RJ" has many visitors! by
katdad
My huge orange fuzzball, "RJ" and I live in a 1st floor apartment in
Houston. RJ is a 100% indoor type of guy.
We have a private patio out back, with a high redwood fence. RJ was
unfortunately declawed (boo!) by his former owners but now this works
to advantage, since he can't climb and therefore...

I can't believe how long I slept by
Pat
Eleven hours I slept last night, without even waking up to pee. That is some
kind of record.
Of course I did wake up long enough to tell Jill that I think if one of you
guys didn't get through to me, I can't imagine that there would be any
chance of saving me at that point. I mean, if I couldn't...

Ping: anyone with Pat's phone # by
Ginger-lyn Summer
Just in case my e-mail to Pat didn't go through, I need her # since
I'm in line to call her early tomorrow morning. I'll check my mail
early this evening. Just put "Pat's number" in the header so I'll
know it isn't spam (ugh -- over 50 a day of those things!). I got the
alternate number, Pat,...

Ping Bridget and such by

Bleh... What a nice ending to my year, LOL. I've had a root canal done, or
we're in the process of one. My dentist prefers to do a root canal in steps
if it's absessed. Thursday was drilling/reaming and draining. Yesterday I
went back to have the root drained of excess absess fluid with a...

Book Exchange Offer: Murder Most Feline by
jmcquown
Magic Mood Jeep sent me a book of short stories - cat stories - entitled
'Murder Most Feline'. I enjoyed this read on American Thanksgiving Day
whilst others were watching American football and parades, etc. I loved the
stories!
As per my agreement with MMJ, I'm offering to mail this book to...

First kitten claw clip today by
Cheryl
They have such sharp hooky claws and they play so rough so I thought
today is the day. They were so good. :) I got most of the front claws
and only took off the tip because kitten claws are just so darn
small. Now the kittens are getting used to having to work a little
harder at hanging on things...

Vet Tech Journals 19 (long) by

Owie.....
I got beat up this weekend.
On Friday morning, I was holding this dog while its nails were being
trimmed. THe dog suddenly started to struggle and I got a nice scratch
on my left wrist. Ouch....
Then I was holding this great dane so my co-worker Fern could draw some
blood. But she...

What was THAT?? by
Mishi
We have been having a bit of snow today, and the cats have been very
interested in watching it come down. I was sitting here a short time ago,
peacefully reading RPCA, when a snow plow went by. In a split second, I had
cats running all over the place, trying to get away from the "monster"! 3 of
the...

We started Mimi's atibiotic last night, before we went to bed (instructions
said every 12 hours), and kept her in the bedroom with us last night (the
only kitty onna big soft sleeping place, Weeble is a bit jealous of her),
and she woke me every two hours as she wanted out. I would bring her out...

More kitty pics... by

Greetings from a desk absolutely *buried* under RPCA holiday cards :)
I've just updated my photo albums, which have been criminally neglected
for most of the year. There's some cute kitty pictures from my trip to
Hong Kong last May - you can check them out...

headbonks by
dirtylitterboxofferingstospammers
Nathan is nursing an aching right eyebrow. Why? A certain one-eyed black
ladycat's standard form of greeting on a hoomin that is sitting down is to jump
on said hoomin and give the hoomin a substantial headbonk in the region of the
eyebrow. Yesterday Waffles felt in need of greeting Nathan many...
