Star/Hunter is going to the bridge tonight by Susan M[_3_]
I am working with his slave right now and we were both sobbing in the coffee room this AM. She told me that young beautiful Hunter has untreatable kidney cancer and will be pts tonight. She is devastated. She has asked me to come to her house at lunch to say goodbye. I don't know if I can. ...

Mojo RIP by nik Simpson
I'm shocked, Mojo is gone, found him on the back lawn this morning, at first I though he was just sleeping he looked so peaceful. No visible signs of anything wrong, so not a road accident and nothing to indicate poison (and nothing in the yard that would have poisoned him) so I suspect heart...

OT T-Shirt slogan by Granby
This is a sig line from someone on another group but I think it should be on a t-shirt. "Now that I am older I thought it was great that I seemed to have more patience. Turns out, I just don't give a ****!"

Worst Spring EVER!!! by Kreisleriana[_2_]
It is raining for the third day in a row, and will keep on raining until Saturday. It has been raining most of the spring. I am so sick of one grey day after another. I don't remember what the sun looks like anymore, and the dogs around here are starting to smell mildew-y. I am going nuts....

Boyfriend does an Otis by Christina Websell
I am a dreadful sleeper and after spending most of the previous night awake and then working all day I was looking forward to unconsciousness last night. I was woken up at 4 a.m. by Boyfriend meowing loudly outside my bedroom door. It was just getting light and I did not appreciate it one bit. ...

May I scream? by Ginger-lyn Summer
I wanted to respond to everyone that posted in my old thread catching up, but I couldn't figure out how to work this X-News thing. I think I'm getting better at it now. But thank you, everyone, for your kind comments. It was nice to hear positive things and nice for me to feel better for...

8 years on by Yowie
8 years ago, I can still vividly remember Joel waking me up at about 11:15pm saying 'A bomb hit New York'. Wearily, I stumbled out to the lounge to watch the coverage, thinking it was some sort of stunt, a joke, a sci-fi movie. We watched in increasing horror as the second plane hit the other...

Ping Jill by Granby
You started this without a lot of correct information then, you disappeared. You were supposed to be their friend, why didn't you simply call and ask what the situation was. I can't decide if you love or hate Allen but, you were reported to be their friend. A phone call could have saved all of...

Kenzie is very sick; can she have purrs? by Gandalf
This morning before work, I went down to the basement to scoop the litterbox. I found that Kenzie had thrown up clear fluid in several places in the basement. The fluid had no smell that I could detect; I think it was just water. Kenzie would not come when I called her to give her a treat (and...

New resident at The Rainbow Bridge by Granby
Today a 6 month old boy kitten went to the Rainbow Bridge. My son and the girls got in the car, revved the engine a couple of times, honked the horn and began to back out. Mighty Mike, a beautiful tuxedo cat ran right under the wheel as the car moved. The girls were upset and blamed Dad. I...

Out from under the Black Rock for a bit by Ginger-lyn[_2_]
Gosh, I missed a lot. I started trying to post and then realized I will never catch up. So a shoulder to cry on for those who need it, and a big laugh to share for those who need that, too. My dr. upped my one depression med, but it seems to do nothing. My sleep schedule has gone wackers --...

Dead Mouse in the cat food bin (question). by ~*LiveLoveLaugh*~
I've been on vacation and I have a new pet sitter. He didn't seal the cat food bin in the garage, and when I went to fill the cat bowl today, there was a dead mouse in it laying on the top. The bin is FULL. I scooped the mouse (of course) and all the food around it about 2 inches in diameter...

Prayer/Purr Request for my DH please by Kyla =^..^=[_4_]
Last night, my husband, Dutch, passed out and fell to the floor via a chair on the way to the bedroom. He'd gotten a flu shot on Wed and the Dr had put him on an new anti-dperessant and he also might have had a drug interaction. The firemen came and checked him out, and he's okay now, but I'm...

Boyfriend was forced.. by Christina Websell
To use the litterbox. He likes to use the out for his toilet duties but it's really cold here. It was -5C last night so he was in all night. He asked to go out this morning when it was still about -3. He changed his mind when he saw how cold it was, returned and did the most massive pee in...

Yoda's Squishy Quilt is finished. by Sherry
I just finished handquilting and binding this weekend. Webshots has been insufferably slow, but please take a look if you can. This is the twin sized quilt I made from the squishy squares I received. It's really a treasure to me. http://home-and-garden.webshots.com/photo/2530159350101618540JtBMTx]
