Cat Tails by
bigbadbarry
The neatest thing...
I knew cats had good control over their tails,
but last night, Ruprecht and I was laying in the floor
and he startedt his thing with his tail...
like he was tickling my leg with the end of it...
he'd dangle it over my leg...then barely touch it..
and jiggle it...like we might...

Cat Tales by
biggerbadderbarry
Thought this was interesting.
I talked to my Grandmaw today, her daughter and son-n-law
trapped a cat. (several years ago) She said they just knew the cat was
going to kill itself trying to get out of the trap. They took him to
the vet, then decided to keep him.
He's real big, and she said the...

Cat tattoos? by
gravatiaX
Hi-
I adopted 2 beautiful brothers from the animal shelter on Sept 29. The
shelter told us that they were 2 yrs old and that they were originally
brought in sometime in Feb 05. Then (not sure when), someone adopted
them, only to return them to the shelter in early Sept. After a
check-up, our vet...

Cat Terror by
Deemer
I've receintly installed a ceiling fan (and am scheduled to install 2
more). My 3 year old cat--timid but usually friendly and happy--is
completely terrorized by the site of it, even when it's off. He will
not go anywhere near the room with the new fan and has taken to
crouching low and staring...

Cat that doesn't knead by
KellyH
Just curious, I have a cat that doesn't knead. All of my other cats knead,
and any other cat I've had did. I got her at about 8 months old, don't know
much about her life before that. She purrs and headbutts and likes to
cuddle, just doesn't do the kneading thing.

Cat that licks edges. by
Angela St.Aubin
Hi,
One of my cats does something that has always confused me,. so I figured I
would ask about it here.
He licks things. I know a lot of cats do, but I dont mean food things, or
plastic, which he does, but he is constantly licking the edges of things. Of
anything, a book, a table, a wall, anything...

Cat that wets the bed by
---MIKE---
This cat belongs to a friend of a friend. A five year old altered male
that pees on the bed. He has been to the vet and was given a clear bill
of health. This has been going on for quite a while. My recommendation
would be a Feliway diffuser in the bed room. Are there any...

Cat themed gifts for Christmas by
chas
Ok I know there was a subject about this a while back but I just wondered
where everyone is getting their essential Christmas cat themed gifts.
I particularly after a set of tables mats (for my table not the cat!!) with
a black cat silhouette design or black paw prints design - if such a...

cat threw up, refused to eat - what questions to ask the vet? by
Nadia N.
My 1 year old cat Sweety was not feeling well last night or this
morning. She threw up around midnight (about an hour after she'd had her
dinner), and then this morning at 8am she refused to eat her breakfast.
Also this morning her ears seemed very hot to the touch. I was going to
wait to see...

Cat throws poop out of litter box by
[email protected]
Hi,
Brought new cat home last week - went great - last two days I have
found her poop on the floor beside the litter box. It is lightly
dusted with litter - so it is being thrown out of the litter box - any
ideas?
Thanks,
Suki

Cat Throws Up by
LauraM[_2_]
Does anybody have a clue as to why, almost every morning, my cat
throws up? He's 13 and this has been going on for years. I can only
give him four pellets of food at a time, with each dispense of food
being about 45 minutes apart. Only then will he not throw up.
He doesn't eat any people food...

Cat Thyroid by
Jenta
Hello, i am new to this group. I have a 13 year old cat that is a
short haired tabby. Recently, he has been diganoised with thyroid
problem. Since I am unavailable to pay the cost of testing and vet
visits, the vet gave me a medication that was too high for him because
he keeps pucking it up. I...

I'm new to this group, perhaps this has already been mentioned but
thought I would give this tip I have discovered by myself.

cat toileting outside litter tray by
Thumper
Recentlly I had to re-home my male cat due to moving. I found a home for
him, but the owner said that he would hide away and only come out at night
to eat. Wasn't very affectionate, which is unusual for him . Would growl if
any one went near him and he had a very bad habit of toileting...

cat too old for playmate? by
Camilla Cracchiolo
Is our cat too old to add a kitten to our family?
A year and a half ago, a 5 month old kitten walked into our lives.
Very sweet and incredibly smart cat. So we fixed her, vaccinated her
and kept her. She's now about 2 and an indoor cat (well, we take her
out on a leash, sometimes.) Very social...

Cat Tower by
Cat Protector
I may be getting a slightly used cat tower and was wondering if they were
safe for my cats? Is there any germs or health issues I should be concerned
about that could carry over to my cats if I bring this thing home? I've been
told the cats that had this before were healthy but you never know...

cat toy by
John Doe
Many months ago, I bought some of those dumb looking Hartz colorful
plastic balls with a bell inside. Recently, Kitty has been getting a
lot of self-propelled exercise with a yellow one of those. More fun
than playing with his tail, I guess.
