Help! Cat peeing in the bathroom by
Paula Sims
Hi there,
We've had Missy for over 10 years now and she's been known to have a
temper like her "mother" (we have "mother/daughter issues"). That said,
I think she's doing the following on purpose because she's mad at us.
Here's the story.
She likes to be our alarm clock, sometimes at 3am (I get...

My dirty pussy. by
James
She an indoor only to sleep cat who spends most the time outside. She
must like playing in the dirt because lately her fur is dust covered
instead of nice smooth gray. She also don't seem to lick me as much
as she used to. Short of keeping her indoors, how can I get her to
groom herself more. ...

Any good dry diet foods for cats? by
Stacia
Are there any good dry diet foods out there? We have 3 cats, two of
which are normal weight, but our cat Simon is quite large. He's 18
pounds, probably should be about 14 according to the vet. We had him on
prescription bland diet for a while, then back to Purina One healthy
weight. The vet...

New member intro by
kkatnhat
Hello everyone!
My name is Kathy, I live in Bucks County, PA and just found your
group. I've been searching for good sites and forums for the last
couple of months because I lost my best friend and companion Kelsie on
Feb 2 due to the horrible and tainted commercial pet food. Also, just
last...

Sweet Molly by
22brix
I had to say goodbye to Molly today. She was becoming weaker and weaker and
over the last several days was eating less and less. Today she started
stumbling around and I realized I just can't put her through any more. I
took her into the my vet and had her put to sleep. She was an incredible...

the trolls... by
Joe Canuck
Hey folks...
The best way we can deal with the trolls in here is to simply ignore them.
Now, they do hate being ignored and will escalation their attention
getting antics.
Remain firm in the face of it and simply not respond to them.
By engaging them you contribute to the signal-to-noise ratio...

DO FEMALE THAT HAVE ALREADY BEEN SPAYED, STILL CALL? by
sheelagh
We had Lilly spayed when she had her recent Pyometra problems.
Recently however, she sounds as though she is calling. She is showing
every indication is that she is, other than the fact that we don't
have the local un neutered population standing right outside the patio
doors....
Is there anything...

Friday is the day by
-L.
The vet is going to come to the house and help Peewee cross over.
He's weak, skin and bones, and suffering - it's time. He still has
some quality of life, will purr when I hold him or scratch his head,
and still likes to go out with the dog, but isn't eating much and is
weak. I can't let him...

What to do With Old Cat Litter? by
Smartin
Just wondering if anyone has creative ideas for what to do with old cat
litter that has been reused for months on end...
We have four boxes and use clumping litter with sifting pan liners.
Every week we sift out the clumpy bits, add a generous sprinkle of
deodorizer to the box, and top off with...

Odd behavior by
Susanne
I have two cats, one male and one female. They had one litter
together, and then I had the female spayed. After that the male
avoided her, and then seemed to turn feral, only showing up now and
then to eat and then go away again. Now he's gone altogether. Was this
behavior caused by the spaying of...

A Human shelter burned down last night in Florida, USA.
It is a Tragic story, & I hoped that by posting it, that some of us
might be moved enough to help them in some small way if you can...?

She doesn't like her furniture any more. by
jmc
I first bought Meep a cat tree back in 1999. She instantly knew it was
hers only, and from then on, she has practically lived on her tree.
We've moved a number of times, and replaced the tree once that I
remember and she's always loved the thing, sleeps on it, etc. The
current one is very...
