Bread obsession--gone wild! by
Rene S.
A couple of weeks ago, I posted a question, asking if anyone's cat
attacked loaves of bread. Judging by the response, it seems my cats are
not alone in this habit.
All of the bread and buns are now safely stored in a cabinet. . but now
related items (previously never touched) are now being...

Break a leg, Shadow by
guynoir
Last Thursday Shadow had the steel pins removed from his leg bones. By
Monday evening, the incision had healed and he’d stopped limping, so I
released him Tuesday morning. Total cost: over $700. I had no luck
domesticating him, which makes me sad because he is a really
affectionate and playful...

Breakfast at Tiffany's by
Rhonda
Has anyone seen that movie? I had NO idea that a cat would be one of the
stars!
Loved the ending, although the poor kitty was so wet.
Once in awhile now I will grab one of our cats, hold him close and say
"CAAAAT, CAAAAAT..." (I know, there's probably a 12-step program for this.)

Breaking a cat of nocturnal behavior by
T
Well, little Evangeline is a night owl. So today I've been keeping her
awake, ALL day. She's not happy but I have to break her of the nocturnal
behavior.
I suspect her prior slave was a college kid. Roommate had turned her
into the pound and I know college kids are night owls.
So we'll see...

Breathing Problem After Taking him to groomer by
Janet Perez
I recently took my Pomeranian dog (Pookie) to a groomer for the first
time to get a lion hair cut. The lady in the counter recommended to
give him a flea bath also, so I decided it was a good idea. Well when
I received pookie (Pomeranian) He's hair cut looked bad!! But that
wasn't my main concern...

Breeding cats.. really need to cage males? =( by
Brian Link
It occurred to me, while surfing various cat sites, that if you bred
cats (only experience with breeders I've had is acquiring our
wonderful Bengal, Louis), you'd have to either have the males outdoors
or in cages, or else they'd spray everything in site!
Is that what happens? What a pity! I was...

Breeding History by
bigbadbarry
I'd be interested in hearing about breeds and purposes...
I am sure these awsome little creatures have always had a special place
in kings palaces.
We had a circus in town last week, I didn't go, but there was a cat
show...and the things I heard...wow...

Breeze litter box system? by
Jennyanniedots[_2_]
Hi all,
I saw an ad for Tidy Cat's new "Breeze" litterbox system which
separates #1 and #2, so I bought one to try out. (It's
"revolutionary!" LOL.)
http://www.breezeforcats.com/
I just set it up last night so no news yet, but I'm curious to know if
anyone else has tried it, and what folks think...

Brenda's licking the end of her tail into a spike by
[email protected]
Hello all, Our Brenda has started a habit she licks the end of her
tail until it looks like spike. She walks around with her tail straight
in the air. I have searched to see if there is any injury, but No,
nothing... She is not licking the fur off just fashioning it into a
spike. Brenda is one of...

Bringing 3 semi-feral cats indoors by
[email protected]
I have 3 semi-feral cats who have lived in a small shed for the past 5
years. I want to bring them indoors with my one cat. These outdoor
cats have always had good care and yearly vet visits. But I am
concerned about bringing them indoors and the terror they will go
through during this process. ...

bringing home dead things.... by
[email protected]
Has anyone had any success at getting their kitty to stop bringing
home the bacon? or in my case the chipmunks? I know it's a trophy
thing, but really---baby chipmunks are too cute to be found on my
doormat everyday. Suggestions?

bringing in a second cat by
jr via CatKB.com
I have a 6 year old neutered male cat. He is an inside cat and has always
been an only cat.
Last week I brought home a 2 year old spayed female (half his size) and
have had her in one room in our house (a room that male cat has definitely
spent time).
Today I put a hook on the door so that the...

bringing in cat - update by
jr via CatKB.com
Sunday update:
Both cats have their claws but do have them trimmed. For the most part the
male (resident cat) ignores the door but when he hears the female (new
resident) he comes over and still growls and hisses. Just a few moments
ago, there was a lashing out between them, paws going after one...
