Dear Phil ... by cybercat
Do I have to "ping" you to get your treasured input on Boo's round cell cancer? Surely you realize how much many of us depend upon you. Maybe you just missed my BOO HAS A LUMP thread. I know you are busy, but don't forget about us. I imagine the detailed results will be in any day. Thanks.

Death of My Cat Last Week by Feles
My cat of 15 years, Puddin', died last week. I noticed she was missing on Tuesday, April 25, and that afternoon after work I looked for her -- under my house, under my shed, under my neighbor's house. Did not find her. On Weds. I expanded the search, looking in neighbors' yards several houses...

Decided not to put TB through surgery... by NateB323
Today's decision to NOT put TB through the surgery was probably THE MOST difficult decision in my life. After hemming, hawing, and crying about it for 4 days, I discussed it further with the vet and something just told me to not put him through it. I decided to bring TB home with meds and pray...

Declaw cartoon! by kraut[_2_]
This is a cute declaw cartoon my wife come accross about a declawed cat getting it's revenge. Kind of ironic seeing as how she had her cats declawed before we were remarried!! http://www.terrisfp.com:80/bev/declaw.html

Declaw the Humans, not the cats by LemonPops via CatKB.com
Why mutilate cats so that they fit into a human environment? Why not just alter the environment slightly? I have a 6 x 9 sisal rug that Sweetums can tear to her heart's content. If she barfs on it, it's easy to clean up..and the fibers absorb the rest. If I sprinkle catnip on it, the leaves stay...

declawed and non-declawed? by piggypot
I have a friend who is about to adopt a kitten I've been fostering, but I've made one of my conditions that she agree NOT to get the kitten declawed. Her current cat is declawed (not by her) and she's worried about there being a defensive disparity between the two. I have one cat who is declawed...

Declawed cat vs. Non-declawed cat. Should I worry? by -Lost
Declawed cat vs. Non-declawed cat. Should I worry? Let me first say, yes, I feel animals have feelings. Most people like to run their mouth about me worrying too much about my critters and I have decided I can look way beyond that, considering YOU cat people are nicer although much more...

Declawing by JR
There has been and still is a lot of controversy over declawing. Some vets say it is okay, others contend that there are many problems associated with declawing. After reading about this subject, I can say that it is not something that I wish to put my cats through. I came across a good resource...

declawing by Penny
I am trying to find out if there is an alternative to declawing my cat. I have a 2 year old son who loves our cat and our dog. All three of them play together. The other day the three of them were in a pile on the floor and our cat, Juliet, scratched my son's ear, enough to make him bleed. Juliet...

Declawing "compulsory"? by Dave Whiley
I have just read a "letter to the editor" (those able to receive British TV will find it on ITV1 teletext page 328, sub-page 3 of 11, until 17 May). The letter includes this statement: "I think in America all kittens have to be 'declawed' by law to protect the young birds, especially the...

Declawing A Cat by Cat Protector
I know this is a topic that keeps popping up over and over again but it just goes to you that even during the holidays people still think about declawing their cats. Tonight at Thanksgiving dinner I was shocked to learn that a couple of guests (they are a married couple) who I had known for...

Declawing mentioned in movie "Elf" by KellyH
Hi everyone, I just got back from seeing the movie Elf. The movie was great, the story is really cute, and I would recommend the movie for kids and adults. However, there was a statement in the movie that stuck out like a sore thumb. When Will Farrell first comes in to his dad's office, the...
