Petgold Mite-X Ear Mite Remedy by
Gizmo
Has anyone tried PetgGld Mite-X Ear Mite Remedy before ? I noticed
when I used it on my cat that the inside of her ears got a little red
and they even felt warm to the touch. They did not look that way
before adding the meds. I am wondering if possibility if they could

Ann MArtin claims debate by
Steve Crane
I thought I would start a new thread and the other is getting
unwieldy.
Let's take a look at this from another angle.
ONLY for the sake of argument, let's suppose Ann Martin is right and
all pet food contains large amounts of rejected meat meals from human
processing, and all the dead cows and...

cat with eye problems by
VW
We live in a small dwelling in a rural area of BC and have 4 healthy
cats that love to spend time in our large fenced yard. We also get cat
visitors, many of which are friendly and get along with our cats.
We've had a very friendly male hanging around over a year who loves
getting petted and having...

Outdoor to Indoor by
David Meeker
I have four cats, two of whom were strays accustomed to fending for
themselves out doors. I've managed to get them to tolerate being indoors
overnight, but they still very much enjoy the outdoor life during the day.
Since they don't roam out of the yard very often, I've felt that they...

Trout Pout by
Alison
Hi ,
Kim has a swollen bottom lip, she looks like Lesley Ash.(UK actress)
It isn't painful and there are no wound marks.
This happened before late last year , the vet thought it might be
because she was scratching it . This time a different vet thought it
could be an allergic reaction to frontline...

Filthy cat quiz =^__^= by
Hairball
Hallo all!!
Since whatever this is it's going to kill me before it kills the cat, I
decided to wait until the only vet I trust returns from the holidays (next
week). But I'm curious, so... what do you think it is?
a) The cat (spayed, female, inside-only, exotic shorthair) is perfectly
lively,...

New to kitten fostering by
Chris Jung
Hi,
I'm new on rpch+b but I'm an old timer on the dog newsgroups. I'm married,
have a 5 year old son, two collies and I've volunteered to foster orphan
kittens for our local SPCA. Last week, the volunteer did the home visit and
spent an hour going over the fostering program.
I was approved and...

Help for constipated kitty by
Anny Middon
Lovely Rita Metermaid, our 3yo spayed female, has an occasional problem with
colitis. She had blood in her stools two weeks ago, and received meds for
10 days.
Starting Sunday, she began to vomit occasionally. The problem got worse,
and yesterday (Tuesday) I took her to the vet. An xray showed...

According to the official FDA website,Miss-Leading Martin is stating

The person, writing the above, quoted from the FDA/CVM
study on dog and cat DNA, which had nothing to do with the statement
in a letter I received from Christine Richmond, FDA/CVM, "In

BIO Spot VS. FRONTLINE by

I was wondering what was better for cats, bio spot or frontline? My house was infested with fleas (I rent and it was the previous owner's fault) and even though I had an exterminator in here last week, my cats had a flea bath but both the house and cats are still crawling with fleas. We're...

I am writing this for a friend. I will try to forward the replies to her.
She has a 3 year old neutered male cat which was born to a feral mother. She
brought the cat inside at 6 months and neutered him. He is average size, white

Chase lets her eat first...why? by

OK, this behavior is almost a year in the making...
When I got Paintball, I got a second food and water dish to avoid "territorial
disputes". Paintball, however, wandered her 10-week-old self over to 'Chase's'
food bowl and started to eat out of that. He sat down and watched her do it
and didn't...
