Need help pilling cat! by

Well, I have to give Smudge antibiotics (flagyl), and I guess it
must
be foul-tasting stuff because the vet gave me little empty gel
capsules
to put the pill in first.
Flagyl *is* nasty tasting...

MIL on the move by
Stacey
Hi folks.
We've been preparing my MIL for the big move out of her house to live with a
friend a few miles away. Yesterday we moved a bunch of stuff over and today
even more. Today we decided to move the MIL and the cats as well.
MIL has two black cats, Ebony and Zeke (a.k.a "Little Sh*t"). Ebony...

Have You Ever Noticed.... by
Tanada
I noticed that being in this group has tended to internationalize my
vocabulary. I have caught myself writing "Good on ya," which is not an
Merkin expression. Nor is "in hospital." I've got a list around here
somewhere of phrases that I'm finding myself using on occasion. Not
that I'm...

Annie, this sounds so much like my wife I edited it to apply. . .well,
read it and see what you think. :-)

always suspected it, of course. Of course one could take the position that the...

B & C - All About Love by
Dan and Nancy Mahoney
I went away and quietly s******ed. Yesterday I went on a shopping
spree with a friend and we both bought a can of Catnip Spray, to bring
out the kitten in your cat. Before John got up I just went off and
quietly sprayed his trousers, hehe. Sneaky eh!
Sneaky perhaps, but very clever!

Fez, aquarist extraordinaire! by
Victor M. Martinez
Saturdays I spend some time doing maintenance on the two fish tanks we
keep. The large tank is easier to take care of, because it has a more
stable ecosystem due to its size. The little tank requires weekly water
changes, though. That's exactly what I was doing when Fez decided to give
me a hand....

OT query for UK members by

As others have pointed out in the past, this is a really knowledgeable

I am doing some genealogy research, and want to get some maps of various
parts of the Lancashire area - primarily Liverpool, Manchester and
Wigan. Is there a...

Your cats' vocabulary (or what they understand)? by
John Rahn
Just wondering how many have felines that understand how many words and
phrases.
Of course, all of mine know the phrase "Are you guys getting HUNGRY?".
I LOVE to whisper that when they are all napping - it's an instant
stampede into the kitchen.
Cosmo seems to have a large understanding...

Another lost cat purr request by
Steve Touchstone
Requesting purrs for another lost cat (not one of mine). One of my
customers moved out of town, and during the confusion of the movers
packing things up Mega bolted and hasn't been seen since. The
neighbors were alerted, but so far no sighting of this little calico
cat which used to supervise be...

great stuff! by

Mr Peabody here. Today the humans went to something called a Farmer's
Market, and brought me a bag of fresh catnip. Woo hoo! Meowmie only gave
me a few leaves, but I was rolling on the floor in no time. I may never go
back to the dry stuff after this!

Plumbing purrs, please? by
LOL
Okay, I *wasn't* going to post about this, but Mike has had such a
rough day today and will have another tomorrow, so I figure I'd better
ask for some purrs. It seems like every time I start a new thread,
it's a purr request, sheesh.
We have had major, major plumbing issues here - we haven't had...

Do you have a video camera? Maybe you could tape her doing some of her
more fascinating activities.
He doesn't see her carry her flea collar to the back door as an
indication she wants to go out to her Kitty Walk.

Cat vs Human by

I consider Gizmo to be fairly well domesticated, that was until last night.
We were watching TV together (yes, she watches TV then talks to me in the

a while until she bit me and started swiping me and hissing. I hadn't...
