Lost Cat Found by
Cheryl[_5_]
It is unfortunately very common here to see signs posted up asking for
any information about a missing pet - sometimes a dog, mostly a cat. And
you never hear anything more about the search. Today, I noticed one of
these signs with two stickers on it - one said 'Not found yet date'
and the...

Out of lurking to say this... by
~*LiveLoveLaugh*~
My number ONE reason for not posting in here anymore was b/c of Kyla. She's
a sh*t stirrer, and it was making me sick. And she does the SAME thing in
the Pink Floyd group. It's "woe is me" all of the time and then she cries
that she doesn't understand. 95% of the peeps in the Floyd group...

They know things by
Cheryl
I got home tonight and wanted to quickly change from work clothes to leisure
clothes (t-shirt, sweats, warm socks) but I couldn't find a matching set of
socks. So I put on the first 2 that I found; one black, one white.
Shamrock stared at my feet the whole time I walked down the hall to the...

Bobcat
Hi, Kreisleriana-

As I think you already know, I've joined Twitter and have two
accounts, "bobbythecatt" and "moochkitty". Mooch our resident stray
has his own account, and the other day he received a "tweet" from
someone who calls...

My aunt is in the hospital after having 3 minor heart attacks. She had

OT - Finally a Name by
CatNipped[_2_]
I finally got my Cardiologist to put a "name" to what I have....
Myocardiopathy with Left Ventricular Thrombus.
Doing a web search is daunting. If anyone has had experience with this,
either personal or friend and family, any anecdotal info would be gratefully
accepted.
Still in the hospital,...

Cat Language by
CatNipped[_4_]
I've definitely learned how to speak "cat". Sammy was lying on the end of
my bed but no matter how I enticed her with scritchin's, she wouldn't come
over and be petted. So I used my "kitten in distress" meow and she
immediately jumped up and ran over to me... heh, heh, heh - faked her out...

Catnipped suffers major setback by
CatNipped[_4_]
As everyone is probably aware Lori went in to have her ostomy reversed
and stomach hernia repaired. Everything went well right up to the day
she was scheduled to go home. She developed a bad cough and was running
a fever, she also had a lump in the lower left of her abdomen. Xrays
showed the...

Waking up by
David Stevenson
I woke up, and there was this cat, so I stroked it.
Curious, I thought, it's not Siamese.
Minke appears to have a playmate!

Early Morning Zoomies by
jmcquown
Persia must be feeling the coming of spring. At 6AM she got the zoomies in
a big way. She was dashing through the apartment, sounding like a
thundering herd of elephants. She'd dash into the bedroom, leap onto the
bed then use me as a springboard to leap over me, then whoosh! Back out of
the...

Can a person carry a kitty cold from one house to another? by
Karen AKA Kajikit
We had a house guest on Wednesday and he travels a lot... Sillybilly
started sneezing on Saturday and she hasn't stopped :( I think she
might have a kittycold but I don't see how she could have caught it
unless our guest brought it with him! In which case I'd have thought
that Tessie would be the...

Tails by
Marina
Cat tails can be so fascinating. Not least to the cats themselves. Like
most Russian Blues, Miranda has a very long tail. Lately, she has been
chasing that pesky grey snake that keeps following her around. She sits
in the shower stall (her favourite place - don't ask) and suddenly
notices that...

cat survives 19 days with bottle stuck on its head by
John F. Eldredge

Tabitha Cain had fed a feral cat she called Wild Oats for several years,
but, after the cat got its head stuck in a peanut butter jar, she was
unable to capture the cat and free it from the jar. Finally, the cat
became weak enough it couldn't evade...

I forgot to pay homage........ by
Mischief
Yesterday I had a VERY rough day. Without boring you all with the
details, I can tell you that it contained 4 hours of sleep, a broken
taillight on my car, a major headache, and a busy clinic day
(I work at a weekend vaccination clinic for cats and dogs)
Anyways, I came home and went straight to...
