Unfortunately, by itself this isn't informative. The WBC count is made
up of various kinds of WBCs. For instance, the neutrophil count may be
inflated due to stress. Other...

"leaking" from back end by
Mike Copeland
14 yr old female has started to "leak" a little diareha occasionally.
What are some common causes? Is there something I should stop feeding
her? She gets canned fish, chicken and turkey mostly.
thanx

declawed and non-declawed? by
piggypot
I have a friend who is about to adopt a kitten I've been fostering,
but I've made one of my conditions that she agree NOT to get the
kitten declawed. Her current cat is declawed (not by her) and she's
worried about there being a defensive disparity between the two.
I have one cat who is declawed...

Allerpet by
Thomas F. Maguire
Anybody have any experience using Allerpet on their feline master?
Some have suggested using Acepromazine when speaking of allergens from cats,
but according to the Allerpet web site, "use of Acepromatizin is an 'old
wives' tale." Needless to say, they tout their product Allerpet very...

Do you show your longhaired cat? by
Zoeliz
My cat Webster is a semi longhaired cat who sheds like mad and I find it very
hard to keep him well groomed. The more I brush him, the more loose fur gathers
on his coat and eventually falls on the hardwood floors or elsewhere.
If anyone shows long haired cats, do you have any grooming...

Update as of 7/8/03: homeless man and kittens by
Alexandra
I think the guy is a con artist. All last week, the guy didn't have
the kittens with him at all. On Monday morning and this morning, he
had them back again. This guy is working a scam. How do you have
kittens one week, and then not another when you're homeless? You
can't *store* them anywhere!...

cat acne? by
Purplecat
Hi,
One of my cats has got black crusty bits on the fur on her chin. I believe
this is a sign of overactive sebaceous glands/cat acne. Can anyone confirm
this? The only time I've come across cat acne before it was a lot more
obvious than this, but cleared up in a week or so with daily cleaning...

Siamese biter by

Hi,
My brothers and sister and I got a Siamese kitten for our mother for
Christmas. "Molly" is now about eight months old, and has been a great pet
for my parents except for one thing - she bites (in play, and perhaps
sometimes affectionately), and she bites HARD. It's especially hard on...

I thought you might like this story from a TV/Book writer who posts on another

I recently lost a cat that I'm still very sad about. It is good to hear these
kinds of stories.
