Spare Purrs Please by CatNipped
I don't feel safe enough here any more (due to my stalker) to post why, but I'm dealing with a *bad* bout of depression this morning. Any spare purrs you might have would be greatly appreciated. Hugs, CatNipped

Sparks! by jmcquown
Yes, it's that time of year again folks. *spark!* Oh dear, touch an ear... spark! Tail? Spark! Static electricity big time. Last night I ran my hand along Persia's back and there was a literally shower of sparks. Poor thing! Time to wipe her down with a dryer fabric softener sheet, I...

sparrowhawk diner by wafflycat
There is a sparrowhawk sitting in my garden chomping on something. I was in the sitting room and could hear birds squarking like mad in the garden. I looked out the window and thought "What the?????" There it was, at the edge of the lawn, by the base of a fence panel.. male sparrowhawk! Cheers,...

Spay purrs? by Adrian
Marina wrote: May Miranda have a few purrs for Thursday? We will go to the cats-only vet for the first time, and she will be spayed if the vet thinks she is big enough. I'm probably going to be a nervous wreck. I take her in at 10.30, and should be allowed to take her home later the same ...

Spay/neuter in Newcastle, AU? by Seanette Blaylock
For once, I'm actually on-topic. :-) A friend of mine in Newcastle, Australia, has two problems: very little money and a suddenly in-heat/possibly pregnant cat . Does anyone know of either a vet in that area who'll do the spay and take installment payments or a low-cost spay/neuter program in...

spayed kitten update by Karen AKA Kajikit
Well, Scout and Silver will let us handle them again... on Friday night Scout would run and hide if you bent down to touch her, and Silver would stand her ground and swear profusely at you. They're back to being cuddly now, but on their own terms only. If they come to you and jump up on your lap...

Spayed, Neutered, Speutered or... by jmcquown[_2_]
Altered? I know we've coined the term 'speutered'. I was looking at the local animal shelter web site. (No I'm not thinking of adopting another cat, Persia would smother me in my sleep.) I was talking with a friend and decided to look it up. I notice they say the cats up for adoption have...

Spaying by Lots42
How do you get an animal spayed when the local vet orginizations keep insisting on Catch 22 situations? Basically, I can't do anything until I find the paperwork, and I don't have the paperwork and I can't get more papers because I don't have the paperwork for previous visits.

Spaz and her kittens by kilikini
Since there has been some dear losses in this group I thought I'd share some joy. My friend's cat had 9 kittens 4 days ago. I went over there yesterday to see the babies. Here's a link to my Yahoo photo album of Spaz and...

spazzie goes to the vet by Mike Mayers
spazzie was hiding and not eating for two days. I took her to the vet today (it took me an hour to catch her) and she got an antibiotic shot and a supply of pills. She ate a little bit this evening and I hope I can hide the pills in the Fancy Feast tomorrow.

Spazzie is coming out by ---MIKE---
Spazzie is spending the night ON my bed and eating lots of Fancy Feast. Yesterday she came upstairs and sat on the sofa next to me. Then she got on my lap. Next time I will use a towel (claw marks on my leg from when she suddenly got up). I think Tiger is jealous but there has been no aggression...

spazzie os not feeling well by Mike Mayers
Spazzie ate her supper last night but later threw up in a number of places. She spent the night under my bed and didn't want to come out this morning.. I have to go to the dentist this morning but when I get home, if she isn't better I'll have to take her to the vet. I think the poor girl has a...

Spazzie update by ---MIKE---
She has become a real lap cat. There is no more hiding even from Tiger. Sometimes Tiger gets ready to come on my lap and sees that Spazzie is already there. Tiger just turns around and lies down where he is He is being very good. I'm hoping that soon they will groom each other. ---MIKE--- In...

Spazzie's name by Mike Mayers
another name for Spazzie. I am thinking of Ollie for Oliver. In the movie Oliver, Oliver says "please sir, I want some more". That's Spazzie when she is hungry - which is all the time.

spazzie's new name by [email protected]
I am trying to get Spazzie used to being called "sweetie pie". She has become a very loving, sweet girl. Her only fault is she hollars when she wants to eat. The only foof she likes is Fancy Feast.

SPCA videos by Takayuki
Our regional SPCA, the MSPCA, puts out the cutest video profiles of their residents: http://video.google.com/videosearch?num=100&q=mspca I could spend hours watching them pitching their foundlings, showing them off, and getting them to play.

Speak out about dog-fighting -Tell NFL Commisioner to suspend Michael Vick! by Magic Mood Jeep
I thought you might be interested in this HSUS campaign to persuade the NFL to punish football player and alleged dogfighter Michael Vick appropriately. Now that a grand jury has indicted Michael Vick on federal animal fighting charges--including reports of extreme cruelty to dogs who

Speaking of Being a "Target" OT by jmcquown
