crazy way to wake up... by Justin L
Ever wake up right as your cat is falling out the window? Well I did this morning. I am not exactly sure how he did it, but somehow, he pushed out the screen and fell out of the window. It was a second story window, so it wasn't too far of a fall and is unharmed, but he scared the crap out of me!

How quickly can a feral colony assemble? by Brian Link
For those of you unfamiliar with St. Paul, Minnesota - it's a very wooded city. There are few urban areas very far from large parks or wild train-track areas. Five blocks away from my house is several dozen acres of wild wetlands, and a lake park. Lots of room for a colony to establish, hide and...

Continuing about the stray/homeless cat I feed. I live in Midwest and we will have temperatures down to 20's and wind chills into single digits. I don't know what she did last winter. Actually I don't know if she would even need my help this winter. But I want to have some help for her on my porch...

Help - cat keeps licking her back by TJ
One of the neighbourhood cats has adopted me after I fed her so I guess I'm responsible for her now. She keeps licking her back about 3 inches down from her shoulder blades - dead centre of her spine. It's getting a bit red, sore looking and bald there. It heals up quickly then she starts licking...

Harriet is back at work, with problems by Elizabeth Blake
I brought Harriet back to work yesterday, since she had pooped 5 times over the previous week. She was happy to be back and checked out all of her usual spots. Stinky, however, is NOT glad that Harriet is back. She was hissing at her as soon as she saw Harriet. Stinky *never* hisses so it's...
