Boyfriends and cats - can they coexist? by
Mary Evans
A bit of a delicate matter to discuss: Shnookums has been my roommate
for all of my adult life. And she's a fuzzy girl. So when a new friend
comes over to play for the night, and it's sometimes unexpected,
Shnookums not only gets jealous that she's not the center of attention
for a few hours, but...

In need of grooming strategy............... by
Arwen
I acquired, rescued, a Himalayan cat. At the time he was almost dead from lack of food (It's obvious now that he was a show cat and didn't have a clue how to hunt). He had absesses and ticks and foxtails (I live in the mountains)and very little fur. (God knows how a show cat got lost up here!...

Cat Loves Refrigerator by
Ruby Tuesday
I wonder if anyone else has experienced this. Usually when I open the
refrigerator door, Mico sticks his head inside, and I have to push him out.
But three times now, he's gotten the better of me, and wiggled on top of the
last shelf, and gone to the back of the fridge! It's not like my...

Martha the music lover by
Bobcat
Martha, our loveable chubby tortie, has developed an ear for good music. She
lies on the couch and purrs when I play the classics on CDs. But now that
spring's here, the ice cream truck has returned with the migrating birds,
driving slowly up our street playing that wretched, tinkly off-key...

I'd Appreciate Some Advice by

I have had a male cat, ELLIOTT, for nearly 2 years; he will be 3 years old this fall. I work days and Elliott is home alone all day, M-F; he is an indoor cat with all his claws intact. He is a well adjusted cat and is affectionate; he does not scratch furniture, carpet and so forth. Lately he seems...
