Tara Legale is a cat killing lunatic by
~Roy~
She proports killing of cats just because they may be blind or
sick.......She thinks cats are a disposable item, and shows no mercy
or compassion for a cat. Says cats are too plentifull to worry about
spending money to keep em healthy and fit..yet she weighs more than
400 pounds herself....

Keeping a cat from running outside? by
~*Connie*~
only recommendation I have is to make outside as scary as possible for them.
Leave the door open on purpose one day with someone standing outside. the
second they step outside, make lots of loud obnoxious noises. You'll
probably have to do it several times over a course of some time.

Wandering Cat by
Zythophile
My 5 year old moggie has just developed wanderlust. I moved house about a
year ago and expected problems then. But she's been fine until about 6 weeks
ago. Now she's gone missing twice in 6 weeks for about 12 days each.
She's been found and returned both times, after a poster campaign by me &

cross-country move with cat--help! by
zeldabee
I'm moving from NYC to Oregon in about a month. Background: I'm a single
mom with a 15-month-old (and a cat). Can't pay my bills in NYC, so I'm
moving west to stay with family. Just to complicate things, my mother's in
hospice in Virginia, so I'm probably going to have to leave from NY and go
down...

Advice please on re-located cat by
zbranigan
We recently adopted a cat from an acquaintance who is about to move
out of state and cannot take her cats with her. We live in an urban
setting --San Francisco-- and have a house with a small, fenced in
back yard. When we've had a cat in the past, we would often leave
the back door of the house...

good cat by
Yesteryears
Hello,
I have owned a most wonderful gray tabby for almost 4 years. I wanted a feline companion, but I got even more. This cat was at a
shelter when I found her. She had 7 days left. They said she was found wandering in the street with just a pink collar on her. It is
strange how I picked her out....

The world's first genetically engineered, hypo-allergenic cats are now

Animal Collecting - Looking for some discussion! by
Yankee Rose
I'm a freelance journalist (part time), and I have been a lifelong
lover of animals. So, I don't find it odd that I fell into the job
that I did (Zoonotic disease Research Analyst)
working for the state. I've become involved in a lot of animal
oriented projects at a much higher magnitude, but I...

Can cats smile? by
[email protected]
Hi everyone.
I think if any of you own cats, you are probably familiar with the way
your kitty blinks her eyes slowly at you when she is happy. Lots of
people call this a 'cat-smile'.
I've tried to add this information to wikipedia, an online encyclopedia
(can you believe that it wasn't there...

Help! Cat tries to suckle on me!!! by
[email protected]
Hi,
I have a young neutered male cat, and every night he tries to suckle
on his sister or me. He'll go for my hand, ear, or neck, but I
imagine any body part will do. I'll push him off, toss him off, push
his face away, but to no avail, he comes back. After a long struggle,
he'll give up.
I...

Companion for Kitten? by
[email protected]
Hi,
I have a spayed female kitten (a month or so old?). She's an indoor
cat and is pretty needy (meows when I'm not around, etc...).
I work full time and I spend time with friends on weekends, so there
are long periods when she's alone at home. I want to do what's best
for her, so I have a few...
