Febreeze Spring Renewal: Rave! by beth
Hi All I posted earlier about using a product called "capture" to remove urine from rugs. It works very well, but in a few cases in my office, we had residual odors that would pop up every once in a while. I bought the Febreeze in Spring Renewal, and used it all over my carpet, especially soaking...

Pets eliminating on rug by lbo7123
I am trying to find out if a cat would try and cover up another cats eliminations. I have 3 cats and I noticed right before xmas one of them was peeing on the carpet in the living room. Had a tough time trying to figure it out, but I believe I narrowed it down to our male. I saw him trying...

cat sick -- possibly tapeworms or cancer by Terry Richards
Kinda wrote: We've got a little black kitten that moved in our house when her real owners moved away and left her. She looked pregnant at the time (early October). Now it's early December and it's definitely not a pregnancy. I was hoping it might be tapeworms but I gave her a home ...

Change in cat #1's behavior after cat #2's visit to vet by Aisling Grey
We have two very healthy, very well-adjusted cats (one male, one female) who are both ten years old, and who have been raised together from the age of eight weeks. The only time these cats ever see the vet is for their yearly checkup; they've just never had any other medical problems. They always...

How declawing saved my cat's life and gave him 6 more years (and counting) by He Who Walks
The cat was mom's and she died after a long illness. The cat had clawed up a lot of furniture in the house and no one else wanted the cat. The cat also had a skin condition which now necessitates a depomedrol shot each month. I took the cat on condition that it would be declawed so it...

My Cats scared to go outside because of Psycho cat by Curiosity
Hi We have two neutered femail cats, one like to go outside once per day while the other prefers to spend most of the day outdoors. Recently our "once per day" cat was mauled by a strange new cat which has appeared locally, now both cats are scared to go outside. Any suggestions.

cat proof toilet paper holder? by Joe Pitt
Someone told me they saw a toilet paper holder with a cover in a catalog 'somewhere'. Anyone seen this. I have a couple that won't leave it alone and another is trying to get it off the shelf I'm currently storing it on. I tried turning so it won't roll out and then she gets so frustrated...

Behaviour problems after 8 weeks by Smith
My lovely Felix died back in November and I got a new boy, a rescue cat called Maurice who's around 3 years old. We know his history and he's not been abused, just the product of a broken marrieage. He's been pushed from pillar to post, before finally settling with us. He settled in well with...

Cat Behavior Help by Dallas
A tenant in one of my rental properties (900 sq. ft condo) took on a male stray cat that came to our door a year ago. We named this cat "Danny". Danny is a beautiful faun tabby who was 10 months old when we saved him. He's a wonderful cat, huge personality and very active. She wanted a second cat...

Introdicing a new female kitten to a male cat by claudia
We just adopted a 3-month-old female kitten to make company to our 1-year-old male cat. The little one seems to be interested in making new friends but the older cat is reacting like if he were afraid of her even though the male triples the size of the female. He has been having a stray female...

Another twisty cat breeder? by Twisty Whiskers
This website claims to be breeding real cabbits, but seems to be breeding for deformity. http://www.cabbits.8m.com/ Never mind the genetic impossibility of cross-breeding cats and rabbits, it sounds like another twisty cat breeder only the back legs are affected instead of the fronts. The site...

How to increase caloric intake by Dennis Carr
So Neresse is *slowly* getting better. The Rx a/d helped her a bit, and she's munching on kibble off and on, and seems to primarily enjoy bits of raw ground beef (70% lean). Fortunately, she's drinking water again. But, naturally, she's still very skinny. It's granted that, after one winds up...

Hi, I have 2 cats, Lukey and Oreo. Lukey is older than Oreo by a couple of years. Oreo is 2.5 years old. They've been together for almost 2 years. Oreo has had a habit of urinating outside of the litter box. But he poops in the litter box. I had the litter box on the bathroom floor, and he...

the "loaf of bread" pose by Governor George Liquor
When a cat sits with his legs tucked under him, and his tail wrapped around his back legs, looking much like a loaf of bread, is his mood good, bad, or indifferent? Jack, and to a lesser extent Rizzo, will pose like this in various places around the house. Usually it's when they're on the...

http://go.jitbot.com/croc_hunter Watch this video clip of the crocodile hunter (aka Steve Irwin) feeds crocodile with his baby on one hand. After feeding the croc, he's like playing barbie and ken right in from the croc.! This is outrageous! I can't bare this! If you think Michael Jackson is...
