Flutterbyes in my tummy by
Marina
The fosterer just answered my mail. I can fetch Leo any time, or she
might bring him this evening!!! I just hope I replied on time before she
left home for errands. Then Leo might arrive in just an hour or so! The
batteries are charged and ready in the camera, don't know whether the
cats are...

FLV+ and FLV- kitties together? by
Mary
I was just wondering what people thought about having FLV+ and FLV - cats
together. I was told you shouldn't have them together. Even if the negative is
vaccinated, they can still get FLV from the other cat over time. I had an FLV+
who became a negative who now lives with a negative. They never...

Fly Strip by
Stacey
For the last month or so, we have been inundated with cluster flies all over
the house. Though the kitties love them, I'm getting tired of checking my
pop (soda) cans for floaters before drinking, so I went out and got myself
some fly strips.
My gosh, these things are STICKY! If some of it gets on...

Fly suggestions needed (Not OT) by
Lesley
Don't ask me why but we have been invaded by bluebottles- big, nasty
one's so many that even Dunzi the big black fly hunter is overwhelmed.
Don't know where they are coming from but whilst I usually respect the
right of all living things to live and they can't help being flies (I
am sure if they...

Flying cat! by
John F. Eldredge
Cinders was curled up next to me tonight as I used the computer.
Unfortunately, my allergies are currently acting up, and I sneezed
loudly. Cinders took off as if shot from a catapult; I think she made it
about 10 feet in her first leap before she touched the ground. I will
have to apologize...

Flying cats by
HRFLTiger
Tomorrow, my two purr-bags (feral Pandora, and His Royal Feline
Lordship Tiger) are off to the vet to get their final pre-flight
checks before flying from the USA to the UK on Wednesday. Whilst both
are experienced travellers & flyers, they are going to be entering the
UK on pet-passports which...

Flying cats from UK by
Sandra
It may be of interest to those of you in UK, that some regional airports are
now approved for pet transportation. Among them are Bristol and Cardiff. I
stumbled upon Ward Aviation Support Tel 01275 472292 by following a link
from the Bristol Airport site, and have received a quote from them which...

Flying feather toys by
Takayuki
Buster is a real chewer when it comes to toys. You may remember he
chewed off the streamers of his cat dancer, and even the end of his
cat charmer.
Karen's mentioning the "Feline Flyer" toy reminded me of his latest
act of toy...

flying greeblings by
John F. Eldredge
The weather is starting to warm up in Nashville (with occasional cold
days), and various flying insects have appeared, a few of which have
found their way into my house. Last night, some very small creature
apparently attracted Cinders' attention. I couldn't see what she was
pursuing, but she...

Flying Kitty, Anyone? by
John Kasupski
This kind of branches off from Joy's "Rain" post, but...anybody beside me ever
have a cat that could literally go all the way around a room or from the middle
of one room to the other end of the next room without touching the floor?
I've had two. My very first kitty, a calico named Natasha and...

Flying purrs, please? by
Baha via CatKB.com
I have to fly to Baltimore for a wedding that was supposed to have been this
fall, until an inlaw came around with a shotgun...you know the old story. We
had less than 3 weeks notice. I'm standing up for her, the only one of her
Buffalo friends who didn't bail on her. And I'm scared of flying. I...

Flying purrs? by
Karen
I would appreciate some flying purrs tomorrow and on Monday. I just don't
fly often and while flying itself does not bother me, I just always want to
make sure I make it back to my girls. This is the first time I am taking a
couple of days since Grant died and they have never been together alone...

Foaming at the mouth by
Victor Martinez
I was reading the group when I heard a weird noise behind me. Rufous was
standing there, smacking his lips and chewing and foaming at the mouth.
He spread foam all over the place, but I couldn't see anything in his
mouth. He's done with that and now he's acting completely normal. Any
idea what that...

Foiled again by
NettieCat
The cats are not allowed in the bedroom. The cats are not allowed on
the bed. The cats are not allowed on the pillows.
Yesterday I found Ripley and Annie in the bedroom, on the bed. It's
been very cold here, and they're fed up of being inside, so I cut them
some slack, and threw my dressing gown...

Folk Art by
Yowie
I won tickets to the local folk festival last weekend
http://www.illawarrafolkclub.org.au/folk_festival_home.php
And I am glad I did because my father writes and performs "Bush Poetry"
(anecdotes set in rhyme) at such events, and the tickets to such festivals
are usually more than I can afford....

Follow up on kitty with bad neuter. by
KittyLady
I posted yesterday about a little boy kitty at my vets office who had
an issue due to his neuter. Well when I picked Harvey up yesterday
evening, I asked about him but of course they would only say very
little other that they were able to remove the problem. I did not ask
what they removed but was...

Follow up on NC changes to Shelter Regs by
Steve Touchstone
A while back, Pam S posted about new regulations governing shelter
regulations in her state of North Carolina. She posted a link to sign
a petition asking that the shelters be given more time to implement
the changes (currently the changes are supposed to be in place by the
new year). When I went...

Follow Up: Kitty Dandruff! by
jmcquown[_2_]
I stumbled across a bottle of Duoxo Seborrhea spray in the bathroom cabinet.
I'd completely forgotten Persia's vet in Tennessee gave me some of this the
last time she had dandruff! I spritzed some on her fur this morning. As I
recall, this stuff worked wonders in clearing up the dandruff...
