I miss Kiki by Stan Gilbert
Keekster I remember that day almost two decades ago when I came searching to fill a place in my soul Your little arm reached out as far as it could and you just stopped me where I stood Then you looked into my eyes and did your part For it was then I knew someday you would break my heart

I need a good recipe to cook cats by [email protected]
I like to eat cats and I must admit that Angora cats are very edible and incredibly yummy and it's time to cook and eat as many of them as possible. Yummy ! Tasty ! Should I roast them on a spit, bake them in a oven, boil them in a pot, butcher them for parts or eat them raw ?

I Shall Miss Mei Ling by AWriteny
Yesterday, one week after my birthday, I had to say goodbye to my dear friend and loyal companion - Mei (May) Ling. She was 18 1/2. It seemed like such a short time ago when she & I first met. It was actually in 1986. Her green eyes, freckled nose, and unique (calico) coloring were irresistable....

I'd Appreciate Some Advice by wmdiscenza
I have had a male cat, ELLIOTT, for nearly 2 years; he will be 3 years old this fall. I work days and Elliott is home alone all day, M-F; he is an indoor cat with all his claws intact. He is a well adjusted cat and is affectionate; he does not scratch furniture, carpet and so forth. Lately he seems...

IAMS DOG AND CAT FOOD WARNING by kelly
If you buy dog or cat food from the Iams Pet Food Company, you need to visit a website iamscruelty.com. Apparently, Iams keeps cats and dogs to TEST their foods on before it goes to market. I had no idea pet food manufacturers used animals to make a better food - but some do! Iams keeps cats and...

In how many countries is microchipping pets compulsory? So far, I know that it became compulsory in Israel a few years ago for dogs to be microchipped (not so sure about all cats - the last I heard was that if they are kept indoors the whole time, they don't have to be microchipped, but this may...

In Memory of Sammy by Michael Harrison Russell
Hi, My beloved cat Sammy passed away this morning. He was 16 years old and had been with me since 1987. He had wandered in as a tiny kitten and stayed with me ever since. He had been ill of late but was happy plodding around and being fussed over. He had been to the vets etc. Yesterday I gave him...

In need of grooming strategy............... by Arwen
I acquired, rescued, a Himalayan cat. At the time he was almost dead from lack of food (It's obvious now that he was a show cat and didn't have a clue how to hunt). He had absesses and ticks and foxtails (I live in the mountains)and very little fur. (God knows how a show cat got lost up here!...

Indoor kittens and indoors/outdoors cat -- how to manage? by [email protected]
We've just adopted two beautiful kittens and want to keep them indoor only. However, we already have a cat that comes in and out as she pleases. We have a Staywell door but while that keeps neighborhood critters out of the house, it does not restrict indoor critters from going out. Does anyone...
