A good recipe to cook cats? by [email protected]
I like to eat cats and I must admit that Angora cats are very edible and incredibly yummy and it's time to cook and eat as many of them as possible. Yummy ! Tasty ! Should I roast them on a spit, bake them in a oven, boil them in a pot, butcher them for parts or eat them raw ?

Our kittens are scared of hands? by [email protected]
Hi guys! About four weeks ago, we adopted two kittens from a rescue centre, Stella and Misha. They were aboue nine weeks old at the time. When we initially got them back home, they were very scared, hiding at every opportunity, and hissing at us. After some time, they stopped hissing, and thanks...

RINGO by sheelagh >\o\
Here are a few photos of Ringo now that we have a camera again. He is doing very well indeed, considering he was shot @ almost point blank range. His mobility is great, & he lost the sight of one eye, but seems to have compensated quite well, & is very good at judging distances when he...

Just a sweet story by Stan Brown
I took the garbage out to the trash can in the garage Sunday, and noticed a black cat walking determinedly up my driveway, about 100 feet from street to garage. There are a couple of cats in the neighborhood, but I don't remember seeing this one before. I was in sandals, and this cat started...

Enough Sleep Equals Productivity by [email protected]
Picture this. You wake up one morning and it's time for you to fix yourself or else you'll be late. You've barely slept and spent most of the time staring at the ceiling. You're stressed and you want to get back to sleep. As a last resort, you take sleeping pills only to find yourself the next day...

Taking Hyperthyroid Cat off of Beta Blockers--Update by cybercat
After the vet determined that her thyroid levels are still within normal limits and have remained consistent now for several years, she did another ultrasound and an EKG and the results show that there has been no change in her heart in those years. (She had an ultrasound of her heart just after...

Why all of a sudden my 2 cats cannot get along after years of troublefree caring? by [email protected]
I hope someone can provide me with some answers or advice: I have 2 cats, mother and son. The son was the only cat in the litter so we have kept him and they have lived together, mother and son ever since. The mother is now ~5 years old, and the son is 2.5 years old. I have always felt I was...

My cat ignores me since visits to the vet by Jay Rimmer
A little history, Klondike, a female black and white long hair adopted us about 8 months ago. The first visit went well, shots de-worming, and treatment for ear mites. Fast forward about 6 months and it's time for her to be spayed. She's not too thrilled about the whole deal but after a little...

Meep's vet visit by jmc
Well, time for yearly shots/health status update. Meep is so good at the vet! As long as she has an armpit to hide in, she's fine. Today, she even took her head out of my armpit and rested it on my arm, and laid there the whole time I spoke with the vet. Pretty much, the verdict is: I'm...

Migraines with aura may be a symptom of heart disease by [email protected]
The pain caused by migraines with aura is indeed gnawing but there may be an even more critical condition ahead. Studies show that people suffering from migraines with aura are at higher risk of heart attacks and strokes than those who do not get migraines. Migraine with aura is a before-headache...

litter box area by John Doe
At the local Borg (the megastore), you might find large gray plastic grass doormats for about $10 USD each. So far, I have seven of them. After about two months of use, really enjoying them for our two litter box areas. They keep the litter off of your cat's feet and they are easy to shake out...

Tabby and Oreo by [email protected]
I recently found two stray kittens. My parents won't let me keep them as pets, but they bought them food and are letting us keep them in the backyard. We've had them for about 4 days. I check their litter- they have diarreah(sp). It's yellowish and runny. I fed them ham, before my mom knew about...

The night visitor by James
Went out tonight trying to see the meteor shower. Didn't see any probably due to light pollution. Don't go out to the back yard at night now the bunny boys aren't there. Weeks ago when I used to go out every night to play with them I saw some baby opossums. Even petted one when it was caught in...

Tea for Two by [email protected]
Even when the contents are the same (i.e. H20) my cat would far rather drink out of my glass than her bowl. I don't encourage the practice, but it's hard to combat when, for example, when she is sipping from your nightstand glass of water and you are sleeping. Do you suppose there is any health...
