Littermaid Power Booster! by
Mike
I posted a thread about some toad that is selling a power supply on ebay that
gives your littermaid a little more power when raking thru some hard clumps. It
works, but the guy is charging $40 for it.
After some experimenting, I found that you can go to radioshack and get the
parts you need for...

Dragon
We'll be bringing home a 4 week old rescue home tomorrow evening. We
have three adult cats already. Do I have to keep kitten sequestered
away from all the others until I can get her wormed?
Do kitties have to eat the feces of an infected cat to get worms, or
are they contracted another way? ...

The hair battle - what do YOU do by
Christi Conley
to combat the shedding?
I have four indoor only cats - and my 2 males
shed like crazy all year round - the more I brush
them, the more they shed (or so it seems) - my
house is becoming covered with cat hair. I
don't have dust bunnies anymore, I have dust
elephants fueled by the cat hair - I can't...

cow paddy poop by
Wendy
I have 4 foster kittens who have had diarrhea/soft poop (at best) since they
were trapped in August. FWIW at their age, they tested negative for FIV
FeLV. They have been wormed and their stool was checked and came back clear
for parasites. I'm using Swheat Scoop litter so the litter shouldn't be...

First Kitten by
aisha
Hello,
I would like to find out about vaccinations. I have a 10 week old
female kitten. She's an indoor cat, but I would still prefer to
vaccinate her against dangerous diseases. I read a few articles saying
that vaccinations can cause sarcoma. Is it true? In that case which
vaccination is the...

Hi everyone,
This is the first time I have posted here. I have been trying to figure
out what's going on with this one particlur kitty that I have been taking
care of for a friend. Anyhow, she seems to have these sneezing fits and
contantly seems to have a stuffed up nose. There is no bad...

Amitryptilline has changed our lives! by
J1Boss
OMG - I have my house back again, and I can sleep through the night (ok, other
things do keep me awake sometimes!).
Carey has been off phenobarbital and prednisone for a few weeks, and has been
on amitryptilline for about 10 days. We have had no more nighttime (and random
other times)...

Any significance to bi-color eyes and whiskers? by
Ginger-lyn Summer
I have a little kitten, Arthur, and have noticed a lot that is unusual
about him. He has very unusual and beautiful markings on him (he is
black/grey tabby), and he has bi-colored eyes (both amber and green in
both eyes), as well as some bi-colored whiskers (white on the tips,
black on the ends). ...

Male cats and moisture intake by
Paul O.
In deciding what to feed my cat, and after googling for info, I had come to
the conclusion that a diet of dry and wet food would be good. However my cat
seems to gravitate to the dry food more. My concern is that I've read that
on dry food it's possible male cats won't get the moisture they need...

Inappropriate Urination by
C P
One or more of my cats is peeing on stuff now and again. I've tried all
sorts of things, but I'm here to ask for help. How can I get them to stop?
They're all healthy, I know it's not medical in nature.
Please, any suggestions/ideas are welcome, EXCEPT getting rid of them. Thank
You.

Mr. Macho, my large black male, has become a visitor in our home. Last April
my husband, who Macho adored, was hospitalized for two weeks. We had to set up
a hospital bed in the dining room for him because it was just too difficult for
him to climb the stairs. In addition, he uses oxygen at...
