Ladies Love Outlaws (The Saga of Sheba and Maximilian) by
GraceCat
*tears*
I'm crying because a cat lost her one true love. How "group-ish" is that
and who else on this blessed earth would understand it and NOT be a
member here already? This story is right up there with Shakespeare :)
How beautiful Catherine.

They're all sick by
JBHajos
We only have three furkids but they're all ailing. Speckles is
fighting deteriorating kidney, Hobo has diabetes, now Sandy has a
liver problem (enzymes so high they're off the chart). Tests have
ruled out hepatitis, Cushing's, etc., and apparently the only
possibilities left are hepatitis...

Goodbye my Beloved Giants by
Bev
The poplars flank the back of our property - tall sentinels watching
over us for most of our lives. They were here long before Ted built our
house for us. There was a long line of them, macrocarpas (an evergreen
conifer of New Zealand), too, stretching along behind the twenty odd
houses of our...

How many cats does it take to screw in a light bulb? by
Marina
Last night, I prepared to change the light bulb in the hallway. I set up a
ladder under the lamp, turned away to get the new light bulb, and turned
around to this.

Screened patio by
John Biltz
I had my patio screened on Monday. I did not screen the bottom so the
cats could still come and go. The screen is not for bugs but a
fiberglass screen that is more for blocking sunlight. OK that is all
stuff I said before. The cats seem to love it. They can sit behind the
screen and see but not...

OT first of the year by
dirtylitterboxofferingstospammers
Mad March Hare that is! I was putting out some food for the birds this morning
and there it was, in the field only a couple of hundred yards away, running
around quite happily - a hare. It's my first Mad March Hare of 2004 :-)
The pheasant seems to have taken residence under a large bush in the...

Persia Combs my Hair by
jmcquown
She's such a funny girl :) I was lying on the sofa watching television the
other night. I bring one of my bedpillows in to prop up and rest my head on
and lie on my side. Persia was up on the arm of the sofa next to my
pillow/head. Suddenly I felt her pressing into my hair with her face. ...

Katie is seriously ill by
John F. Eldredge
-----BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE-----

When I got my current two cats, Katie and Cinders, last June, Katie
was a bit of a food-hog, and rather plump as a result. Over the last
three months or so, I had noticed that Katie was no longer so plump,
but her fur, and the fact that she has never...

Bombay or BSH - help please by
Richard
Iwould like to ask if anybody can help me choose a very affectionate
pair of kittens. I am not too fussed on breed, but I do like the
look of both the British Shorthairs (especially the bi-colours and
points). However, my daughter has told me here friend has a Bombay
which is exceptionally...

Oops, I did it again! by
Tanada
Tanada is currently sleeping on the top of my monitor, after shedding
fur everywhere and glaring at me in disbelief. I did it again. I made
the world end. She may not forgive me for a while, this time.
As you all know, we are to blame for anything that happens in the feline
world that they...

big head by
Brian Tucker
Snow cover is gone, had a big wind yesterday, must of stirred up some
crap in fields. Allergies kicked in yesterday. I go for years without
flus or colds but change of seasons always stirs up my sinuses. Keep
taking Benadryl and that makes me sleepy. Feel like a wasted life. Head
feels as big as...

my cats dream of days like this by
LynC
Our temps have gone up to almost 70 degrees! The windows are open, the
trees and grasses are just now wakening, and the days are getting a tad
longer...
Suppose to be this weather all week. Yeah!
My cats accompanied me to the mailbox this morning after much coaxing and
were rolling around on...

Heat?? by
Sherry
Does *anyone* here have an experience with females in heat. You all remember
Biskit. I was waiting till she got built-up and less emaciated before I took
her in to be spayed. A couple of days ago I noticed she was *real* friendly.
Then she started yowling and just doesn't stop. It must be that she...

packing sardines by
Brian Tucker
Still sick here, travelling side show. Friday, burning eyes, sneezig,
Saturday runny nose, Sunday sinus congestion, today sore throat, getting
old. I wonder if the girls know I grew up in a sardine packing town.
They like to pack themselves into sinks and chairs. Together forever,
forever...

I can't believe it by
John Biltz
I took Bruiser to his check up a few minutes ago. He was fine. We
weighed him and he only weighed 10.4 pounds! The vet tech couldn't
believe it either. So we weighed him again. That's exactly what Maya
weighed. I knew he was skinny under all that fur but he felt a lot
heavier than Maya when I...

I won :-) by
Seanette Blaylock
Felix was doing the "I'm about to hurk" bit on the living room carpet
and I managed to get the wastebasket
under and in front of his furry face in time .
Of course, I suspect there'll soon be a b*st*rd cat trick by way of
payback for foiling him this time. :-)
