Gizmo and sick human by Gizela
I have been quite ill over the last few days......flu kinda thing, coughing and sniffling a lot and generally feeling miserable. Last night I was coughing quite a lot, Gizmo was sitting on my lap (providing healing purrs), everytime I coughed she would meow, even if she was asleep. AND, I don't...

She survived....she has not UTI...she has VERY clean teeth!! She was very dopey yesterday afternoon and vomited twice (once at TED once at home)...aparently quite normal. So the spraying must be behavioural, so TED gave me a few things to try and stop it. I shal keep you all updated. TED also...

Gizmo is at TED by Gizela
Well, I left Gizmo at TED this morning (there is a vet here at work, I drop her off at 8 and pick her up at 4 and the vet calls me over when she has her consult). Naturally I felt sad leaving her over there but she didn't seem at all perturbed. There was a white cat in the cage next to hers who she...

Gizmo Keeping Watch... by Gizela
I think Gizmo has been taking part in a rotating roster of "street watch" undertaken by the indoor cats in my street. This is how it works.....she sits happily next to me, watching TV, then wakes up suddenly, runs to the window, where she sits for 3 minutes then joins me back on the lounge...

Gizmo TED Report by Lucy's Mom
I used this method (crushing the meds up and mixing it in a baby syringe) with Miss Lucy when she was younger and it worked pretty well. I had trouble holding on to her, though, until I knelt on the floor and put her between my legs. Then she couldn't get away from me so easily and I had both...

Gizmo TED Update by Gizela
Well, she is still at TED and they haven't done the teeth yet. They just rang to let me know that she is going OK and wants cuddles all the time!! (typical...she's like that at home too). I pick her up at 4.00. I shall let you now how she gets on tomorrow. TED reckons I wont even know she had...

Gizmo thread Update and Birthday List....LONG by Gizela
After worrying for the last few days about Gizmo swallowing the thread, it appeared in her litter tray this morning (among her BM matter).....so, (this is gross) I pulled it out (gloves on) and it was the length of what she had swallowed....luckily..... no ill effects..... Again, the purrs you all...

Gizmos New Friend by Gizela
It appears that Gizmo has a new friend, in a tea towel!!! She never really had a cuhion, or blanket or anything she liked.....until now. Its a fairly plain "fluffy" tea towel, which I was going to throw out (has holes in it) but she rescued it from the "rag pile" and now never leaves it. She ...

Gizmos Present to Me...and PHOTOS by Gizela
Hi All I awoke to let Gizmo out of the bathroom this morning (since she likes to urinate on things, she's safer in there when we're asleep).....to discover she'd left me a present, next to the shower, right where I had to step....a nice brown present complete with cat hair, carpet and grass (and...

Glad to be home.... by Helen Miles
My younger brother has spent the last 18 months winning the trust of a hard stray tuxedo boy living rough on his military base. He eventually trapped him, neutered him, and moved him into his quaters for further socialisation, as well as having him treated for a couple of really nasty infected...

I clipped the Royal Claws this evening. I'm only just back in His Highness's good graces, after big time dirty looks, and MUCH paw-licking. Theresa Stinky Pictures: http://community.webshots.com/album/125591586JWEFwh My Blog: http://www.humanitas.blogspot.com

Not seeing any particular reason not to let Spicey be seen by Dot and Buster anymore, I set up this glass barrier to the upstairs. http://home.comcast.net/~takayuki9z/Spicey/Dot%20at%20glass%20barrier.jpg Spicey has full run and confidence in her upstairs domain. To Dot and Buster, the staircase...

Glass smacking by Lots42 The Library Avenger
Do any of you have cats who smack the glass (it's hard to explain) when they want to come back in? Harvey does it, it looks as if he's trying to scratch a hole in the glass. But he's just getting our attention. -- Willow: Then talk. Keep eye contact. Funny is good, but don't be glib. And remember,...
