Las Vegas OT by
Bev
We will be in Las Vegas for 6 days on our trip and want to see some
shows. However I am not familiar with a lot of entertainers I have
seen on the Las Vegas show website.
We like middle of the road stuff and musicals and I am wondering whether
we should book a few shows ahead via the hotel we...

Persia showing Love or... by
jmcquown
....trying to steal my lunch?
I was half-lying on the couch watching an old Perry Mason episode. I was
eating what can only be described as Southern US "soul" food - boiled turnip
greens, white beans and a piece of cornbread. Persia was on the arm of the
couch. She started rubbing her face on...

I saw Grayness!! by
Mischief
hey there,
I stopped by Michael's house today, and got to see Grayness for the
first time since I had rescued her. Ironically they had just gotten
home from the vet where Grayness had her sutures removed.
Dolores went and picked up Grayness from her box. She had parts of
her front legs shaved...

Fearsome Foursome Update (was Weeble's Mama) by
Magic Mood JeepĀ©
They are still only licking the milk from the bottle, but one of them did
pee in the litterbox last night. So far Meenie is the most dominant one
(she's been purring for us all ready), Eenie second, Minie & Moe kinda stick
together. Minie is smaller than the others, so I try to give her first...

Dogs who worry too much by
Margaret Fine
Almost every night we go out and sit on our fourth floor balcony. We
take Boone and Oliver out with us. While Boone (at 80 lbs) is way too
big to slip his Labrador self through the metal bars that make up the
railing that keeps us from falling off the balcony Oliver, at 9 pounds,
IS small enough....

Bird Feathers in the shower by
Wulfdog
Anyone wake up in the morning or come home to bird feathers in the shower,
or worse yet bird beaks, legs, feathers and guts on the carpet? Our cats
are the best fed cats in Oklahoma, but they still love to have a good ole'
bird murder weekly. We sometimes catch them and pry the bird out of...

[OT]The Cruelest Cut by
Yowie
No. Not for Joel, for me.
I've grown my hair for 6 solid years, getting only a yearly trim to be rid
of the dead ends right at the bottom. I'm very proud of my long, wavey,
natural coloured hair. I can do the "lady Godiva" thing with it, its that
long it can cover up my boobs. I love my long hair...

Titty Tickles by
Bev
I had a visit from an out-of-town friend the other day. She is what you
could call delicately a "well-built" woman with a fine plump bosom.
She wore a frilly blouse to complete the picture.
I could see Bonnie was riveted by the blouse and overhangs. She
immediately made a bee-line for...

UPDATE - Yertle foster kitten by
JoJo
Tomorrow is the big day, Yertle, Max and Sam go back to the shelter to go up
for adoption. You may remember Yertle - the little guy that my dog bit on
the face. He's been doing quite well and has started nibbling on dry food,
but primarily eats canned.
Before the whole dog incident happened, a...

Such Talent! by
jmcquown
The bad news is, Persia urinated on the rectangular bath mat in my bathroom.
The good news is, she folded it up in a perfect triangle in order to hide
the deed. ROFL

deer ticks and lyme by
Brad Snow
Will cats get bit and carry/spread/catch lyme disease?
Do the usual shots prevent this?
Boston news criers are warning about lots of ticks this year.

Adrenaline in the Afternoon by
Christine Burel
Hi all,
I just came home about an hour ago and found out that one of our "pet
screens" got pushed out and both Tucker and Midnight did a jailbreak. I was
just panicked -- ran outside and began calling and fortunately found Tucker
in our backyard within maybe 15 minutes. He came up to me and let...

Update:Bloodbath by
Caroline S.
Well, the visit to TED shed no light on the source of the blood. All claws
are accounted for, Pippin and Fizz's mouths look fine. Ears look fine too.
Behaviorally, we are going to try Buspar for Pippin and Amitryptiline for
Fizz for 6-8 weeks to see if that helps. Either way, we'll then wean...

the box. As you can see, it's hard enough for Nikki (the lid is on the...

Swiffer Wet Jet Hoax by
Margaret Fine
There is apparently a internet letter being circulated saying that the
swiffer wet jet cleaning system uses something similar to atifreeze in
the cleaner and that it can kill dogs and cats. I did some research
after someone passed the letter on to me and it seems to be a hoax and
the products are...

Thanks for answering the question by
NHunkele
Thanks so much for all the help.
I talked to my vet who said to take the kitten back to its mother. The woman
came and got her and will have her vet check it out. She will keep the baby
for another 2-3 weeks.
My male cat already misses her. He thought this was the nicest thing to ever
happen...

Time flies by
Steve Touchstone
This is old news, more of an anniversary announcement.
A year ago this week I decided to trap Whitie, the mostly white, black
and white ex-feral tom cat, I'd been feeding so I could take him in to
be neutered. The plan when I made the appointment was to give him to
customer who wanted a barn cat....
