My cat's poop is REALLY stinky by kitkat via CatKB.com
I know this is a gross topic but we're all friends right? My 13 month old cat, which I adopted about a month ago has UNNATURALLY stinky poop. Seriously. We have another cat and I've had cats in the past and never encountered something like this. My boyfriend who adores this cat is so disturbed...

little ratbag!!! by meeee
I was sitting in the sunroom this morning, when the tiny, pitiful mews started; I couldn't figure out where from though. At one point I thought I had a kitten stuck inside the couch. Then I thought to look out the window, and sitting on an upturned compost bin under my window, staring pitifully...

Housetrained Kitty by [email protected]
So I've had this cat for a while now. She came as a young, underfed, wild cat to my house on Dec. 2. We fed her and then she wanted out so we let her out. Then she just started meowing outside so eventually she stayed inside. Anyway, fast forward to today. She's gained some weight (which leads to...

Luna is under the weather :( by Kitkat
When it rains, it pours, eh? Just 2 nights ago, when I got home and was hanging out with Luna, that she was sorta sniffling...and she shook her head like something was bothering her in her nose. I honestly didn't make anything of it and since it was later in the evening, I went to bed and...

Adopted Cat - Afraid of Bathtub/Bathroom by VelvetVellocet
Hi Gang! I posted this subject a few months ago (check archives - same subject and writer). Well, my fuzzy friend "Sugar" has finally adjusted to the litterbox routine. After 2 months I was able to move his litterbox out of my BEDROOM! Darnit! Wafting cat poo smell for 2 months! Anyhow, I...

Feeding advice - new kitten and fatty 3 year old by Lynne
I have always free fed my cats dry food without problems. Since adopting my kitten, I have been free feeding kitten food in one room and adult food in the other. The kitten cannot get to the adult food (yet), but the kitten food is easily accessible to both. My older cat, Rudy, has been GORGING...

kitten biting cat's throat by [email protected]
This is probably easily answered, but I'm not sure what to do. I adopted a 12 week old male kitten (Poco) a month ago, and an 8 week old female (Brenna), from the same Cat Rescue 2 weeks ago. I already have a 5+ year old rescued male (Squeak). Poco likes to play rough with his teeny sister Brenna...

Cat losing a patch of fur by ksw139
My cat, who is about 3 years old, has all of a sudden started losing fur in a 6 inch by 2 inch patch above her right rear leg. She is acting normal, and doesn't seem unhealthy other than this. Any thoughts? Kevin

HOMO TEST by LC
HOMO TEST Tests to determine if you are a Homo 1. Hundreds of homos lead normal, happy lives. There is no shame in being a homo. Homos are weak and easily beat up.

Ping Kitkat (Pam) by cybercat
Meerkats have Confucious Fangs like Jasperduds! It is just wayyy cute, especially when they look straight up at the sky to watch for birds of prey. Their little faces are so serious. And those two little fangs peeking out. :D

****! Ear mites! by -L.
Both of my freaking cats have ear mites!! They never go outside. All I can figure is that my dog picked them up outside from the damn neighbors' cats who roam in our yard. I am completely ****ed! THAT is why I hate roaming cats. Off to the vet on Monday...grrrrr! -L.

Sudden aggro from Congo. by meeee
Well, as you know, my gang of orange (Moe, congo and garfeeld) has turned one year old not long ago. I just wanted to run Congo's behaviour by you guys, and see if you have any suggestions to alleviate things. Congo seems to have decided he wants to be 'top cat' which I suspected would happen,...

another update on Levi by Lynne
Levi ("the kitten who ate the latex nipple" and "the kitten who might have FHV") saw the vet today. The vet agrees that Levi has herpes. He didn't think it was a big deal and said L-Lysine will help "if I want to do that." I'm not entirely thrilled with this vet and am going to switch (lots of...

Are "pop top" canned foods dangerous to cats? by Al Kondo
I read recently that "pop top" canned cat foods have an ingredient that can result in health problems for cats. Since I feed both of my cats canned cat foods which come in these containers, I would like to know. Thanks, Al Kondo
