advantage or frontline by ANTHONY DIODATI
I just used advantage or frontline one of the 2, on my cat today, and the fleas are falling off of her 1/2 dead. They are not jumping away like they used to. Can I give her a bath too,(Don't think shell like it) or will that affect the usefulness of the product. Thanks, Tony

Advantage possible problem by JohnR66
Battling the fleas here, I decided to try Advantage on my two cats. Not very trusting of chemicals, I only started with one drop on each cat. Simon, my 10 year old large male now (24 hours later) has a bald spot on his back a couple inches where I applied the Advantage. The skin shows no...

Advantage stopped working! by redpenner
We have been using Advantage on our cats for years. The cats vary in age from 7 yrs down to 1 yr. All of a sudden this year, the fleas were back on the cats after only 2 weeks. Can fleas get immunity to Advantage? If so, is there a different one that works as well? (Frontline?) redpenner

Advantage vs Frontline by Michael Lane
I know you get four applications + Advantage is a little cheaper, I was just wondering what everyone uses & why one over the other. Since I have five cats it can get expensive . thanks Mike Lane Luvy, Rainy Boy, Little Blackie, Little One Snowflake & Yes , ( R.I.P. 18 Nov. 2005)

Adventures in home-made cat food by Ken Knecht
After several days of eating it twice a day, Emily 'Bottomless Pit' cat refused her raw turkey last Thursday. Back to dry food. I'll start trying once a day again Sunday. If someone would put out canned and dry cat food, no grains, absolutely no imported ingredients, reasonably priced cat food...

Adventurous cat by The Doctor
First time owning a cat of our own. I let him own for the 2nd time today. Just coming back from errands, I saw our cat roaming outside acceptable bounds! He was coming back to our block, but he was not to go off either block or crescent. He is due at the vet this Monday.

ADVERSE REACTION TO BOB MARTIN FLEA TREATMENT (SPOT ON) by Moo
On Xmas day I treated one of my cats with a Bob Martin Spot On flea drop. After a day or 2 I noticed scabbing to his neck and this got worse over the next couple of days. I took him to the vet, who confirmed that this was probably a reaction to the treatment and prescribed some anti-biotic cream...

Adverse reaction to Vaseline? by John Doe
Has anyone else's cat had an adverse reaction to Vaseline? Kiki vomited and the vomit had a small amount of what looked like blood in it today, after the Vaseline I gave her yesterday. When I got the new jar of Vaseline home, I cleaned the package thoroughly before opening it. After inspecting...

Advice for cat with gingivitis by [email protected]
Hi, I adopted a cat this week. His previous owner had him for four years. He's five years old now. I took him to the vet for a complete checkup and he said the cat has gingivitis. He showed the gums to me. He said luckily it wasn't too bad, with only the very edge of the gums affected. He...

Advice Needed by [email protected]
My cat is not a grazer. He can not leave any food in his bowl so we have put him on a schedule. He eats when we get up in the am and when we get home. The problem is that he begins to try to wake us up around 5:00 am everyday - instead of waiting for the alarm clock like he used to. I was...

Advice needed by H. Barker
Hi all, Okay, let me start by introducing our cat, Mina. She is, we think, about 2-3 years old. She turned up as a stray, eating the hedgehogs food, last summer. We shooed her off for a bit, but eventually caved - she was painfully thin. A couple of weeks passed, and we saw her feeding four...
