Advice on getting 2 cats to get along by
mdsu
I brought two new cats, Charlie and Ellie, home from the local Humane
Society this past Tuesday.
Charlie and Ellie were neutered and spayed the day before I got them.
When I got home, I let them out of their carriers at the same time.
Initially, they smelled each other. But after a minute or...

advice on seeking second opinion by
Joseph O'Brien
Hello. I'm debating whether or not to take my cat for a second
opinion. Can anyone give me advice on a polite way to do this?
Here's the background. I've always felt a little uncomfortable with my
vet, but he's done a good job in the past, he's been around forever, he
saved my cat's life, etc.,...

Advice on sick cat by
Brian
My cat has not been eating for two days and drank a lot of water
today. The cat seems weak and has his eyes half open.
Should I wait to see if he will recover or take him to a vet as soon
as possible?
Regards Brian

Advice on web-based cat forums by
BLink
Hey folks - I was active in the '90s as Brian Link. Since Usenet is approaching a wasteland, I wanted to ask if you have any ideas for other web forums that deal with cats. Having some cat problems atm, and could use some input. Thanks for any ideas.

Advice please by
Kathy
We have a 13-year-old female cat, B.K., who turned up on our doorstep
when she was about 1 year old, pregnant. She was semi-feral, fed by
people who lived across the street to stay around and catch mice, but
not really socialized. I let her in and she just stayed. She was not
hostile in any...

I have a good friend that adopted a kitten a few months ago. My friend has
two young children and the cat is amazing with them. The kids love the cat.
Things started bothering me when she had the cat declawed. I had begged her
not to do it and bought her clippers, suggested soft paws. One day I...

Advice please? by
Dooies B.B
Sorry to cross post but I have a bit of a dilema.
My cat is now 15 and a half, and although she still eats, drinks, toilets,
and sleeps, she does little else. I know she has some discomfort from her
lower back, and probably kidney problems. Other than that and her increased
laziness she seems...

EA
Hello,
we're fostering 2 baby kittens (I think they're about 3 weeks old) and
feeding them formula every few hours. Despite using the cotton bud
trick, however, we are yet to see them poop - just urinate.
Do you have any recommendations on how to get their digestive systems
working?
Thanks a...

My brother has a 14 year old cat that is somewhat overweight (14.1 lbs).
Every year I take his cat to the vet to have an exam and some bloodwork done

that he doesn't mind travel at all, doesn't...

Advice wanted for handling new kitten by
[email protected]
Hi,
I got a kitten about 3 months ago. She is now 6 months old. I got
another 8 week old kitten last weekend. They have very different
personalities.
The new kitten is extremely friendly - lets you pet her, she is
generally pretty calm, and she will just sit on your lap and go to
sleep.

me (7-8 lbs) but is very small-framed too.
Anyway, since she was a kitten, she often...
