Sleepy head by
Bridget
Tony and I were in bed and he was sound asleep. I like to put my head
on his chest - which usually wakes him up and makes him start purring.
This time he stayed sound asleep and I got treated to the sound of his
heart beat loud and clear THUMP THUMP THUMP THUMP and his breathing.
With him being...

Anyone remember........................ by
Bluebird
BlueBird ? Or maybe Cheryle ? Well, she sure remembers all of you !!!!!
I've got to admit that you are a pretty hard bunch of people to forget !!!!
And I mean that in a nice way in case anyone wonders. (BTW, before you
wonder if I've forgotten how to spell and stuff like that, my...

Just popping in... by
Mogget
....to say hello.
I'm not even managing to lurk regularly these days due to various
pregnancy-related complaints which are too dull to bother itemising.
The only good thing about being pregnant is the baby you get at the end
of it.
But I am still alive & kicking (in a rather slow, careful way),...

Bad day at work
This is even funnier when you realize it's real! The next time you
have a bad day at work...think of this guy.
Rob is a commercial saturation diver for Global Divers in Louisiana.
He performs underwater repairs on offshore drilling rigs. Below is
an E-mail he sent to his sister....

Waking up by
David Stevenson
I woke up, and there was this cat, so I stroked it.
Curious, I thought, it's not Siamese.
Minke appears to have a playmate!

Cat In Trouble - Woman Arrested by
CatNipped
A woman dialed 911 here in Houston when her cat was trapped in a drain.
They wouldn't send out anyone to rescue the cat so the woman (a single
mother) called 911 again and this time said, "My 2-year-old baby is trapped
in a drain" (note: her cat's name *IS* "Baby" and he's 2). They sent
rescuers...

A Carl Story by
Fi
Hi,
As many of you know, my husband Carl passed away a couple of weeks ago. At
the memorial we asked people to share Carl stories and there were a lot of
good ones! Here is one I'd like to share with this group:
Carl called me at work one day. He had gone back to sleep after I'd left
that morning...

Frank is 18 today by
Marina
In Finland, when you turn 18, you can vote, you can drive a car, you can
buy beer and wine (but no stronger alcoholic beverages), your parents
don't have a legal obligation to support you any more. Well, I think
I'll take care of Frank a little longer, but I suspect he won't be with
us for very...

Some people just walked past our apartment... Scouty was on the desk
next to me, and instead of turning around and running away to the
bedroom, she ran over to the couch under the window and put her paws
up on it so she could see out and watch them! Our little scaredycat is

Well, Dennis and I are back from our trip to Australia. Got home very
late on Wednesday night and spent yesterday getting settled in.
Our trip was very good, although not as relaxing as originally
anticipated! We went and drove down to Margaret River as soon as we
arrived in Perth. This is the...

an encounter by

I was walking from the railway station to my Dr's surgery in the fancy
end of town this morning when I saw a beautiful brindle-coloured cat
loitering around this rather smart looking car parked at the kerb. I was
running late but couldn't resist saying "hello puss" and stopping to
give him a little...
