Nocturnal howler. by
Sue
I've been lurking here for several months. I'm hoping you have some
suggestions for my nocturnal howler. He's a great animal. He's a
neutered male about 2 years old (neutered at an early age) loving,
playful, affectionate etc. no litter box issues either. He is an indoor
only cat. But he yells all...

Nocturne by

http://i6.photobucket.com/albums/y212/Stormrave/Cretin.jpg
This is Nocturne. As you can see, my father-in-law irritates and
disgusts her. He is human. Humans are stupid, obnoxious creatures,
and if they do not serve her, then she has no use for them.
Thank you greyasphalt (who said you liked...

Noel's losing whiskers by
Lynn via CatKB.com
Hi all,
Looking for a little advice? Noel seems to be losing more whiskers than
usual. I know it is normal for them to lose the odd whisker but I?ve been
finding one or two stray whiskers around the house each day for the last
week or so. I?m a little concerned. He?s had a rough year with a...

noisy Kitty by

I just got a 2 month old female kitten from the shelter. Shes adapted
very well to the house and my 7 month old female cat. She is always
squeeking or chirping like a bird or meowing. Its starting to drive me
nuts. Shes healthy, spayed, eats good, plays good and seems real happy.
Besides...

NON ITCHY EAR HAIR LOSS by
[email protected]
One of my two cats is losing hair on the back of his ears BUT it does
not seem to be caused by mites. First, the veterinarian says mites
typically cause hair loss on the tips of the ears but in this case the
tips are fine - it is the backs of the ears only that are affected.
Second, the cat is NOT...

non minding kitty by
Brandie
Jack my tomcat has become very hyper lately. Which isn't necessarily a
problem. The only thing is aside from just running through the house he gets
on top of things and into things that he shouldn't be. Our other cats we
taught the word NO with a water gun but unfortunately Jack is a water cat
and...

non-kitten sucking behavior by
J1Boss
Carey, 10 yo tortie, has a probable brain tumor (everything else ruled out and
decision was made to treat this assumption), her meds seem to help her
behavior MOST days, although not completely. Her physical self is stabilized
by them though.
Since kittenhood, she has been a "sucker". She...

NonCompliant w/Litterbox by
PAWZ
Hello all:
I have a male MaineCoon Cat that is just over two years of age. He has
recently (past 4 mos) started pooping outside of the litter box. I
have an automatic litterbox that sweeps the clumped litter into a
covered plastic pouch.
I have not been able to figure out why he does it. It is...

Nonprescription flea repellent? by
John Doe
I would like a flea remedy I can buy at PetsMART/wherever. I do not
want it to require a prescription.
Kitty has tape worms again and I want to make sure the fleas are
killed first.
Thank you.

She wants to reject old walnuts behind Sarah's window. Why did
Jimmie join for all the aches? We can't irritate clouds unless
Jonnie will lovingly pour afterwards.
Other lean pathetic bandages will smell actually under weavers. Her

Normal Cat Weight by
David via CatKB.com
On my vet's advice, I bought a baby scale to weigh my cat every month -
this way any weight changes that are not visible by eye would become
apparent much more easily.
My cat is average size, 3 years old, and weighs 11 lbs, 11 ounces..Is this
normal? He has only been in my home 4 days...He does...

Normal for a cat to vomit a tapeworm vs the worm coming out in thestool? by
Cat Guy
We recently gave one of our cats a deworming pill (milbemax) and later
found a worm (sorta looked like a tan-colored rubber band) in a pile
of vomit.
I thought that tape worms reside or attach to the intestinal wall (and
not the stomach wall) and therefore when the worm leaves the cat it's
by way...

Normal lifespan of cats by
MaryL
I have seen a number of messages on this NG where people refer to their cats
as "elderly" with little chance of a quality of longer life, with
implications that it would be unkind to prolong the cat's life when the cat
shows signs of illness. In some cases, these "elderly" cats have only been...

normal litterbox behavior? by
jmc
For most of her life, Meep has not had "normal" litterbox behaviour.
She'd poop only once every other day, and pee maybe once a day.
It's taken a while, but with management changes, water sources that she
approves of, and some supplements, I finally got her leaving "deposits"
once a day, a...

Below please find a desperate email from Dr. Bruce LeGallais in Vermont. He
is trying to save 150 cats alone in a house, left from a hoarding case.
These cats are slated to be destroyed soon. The local animal rescues, humane
societies and animal control refuse to get involved. Dr. Bruce is on...
