Are cat's coats thick enough to keep them warm outside at night (temperature in the 45 degree range)? How about inside an unheated garage?

Just to complicate things, my mother's in hospice in Virginia, so I'm probably going to have to leave from NY and go down...

radio controlled toy? by John Doe
I know they are potentially intimidating, I have tried once before. What I would like to know is whether anyone has had continued success using a radio controlled vehicle to amuse their cat? (perhaps with a string or whatever tied to the vehicle). Thank you very much in advance for any experiences.

Experience with Inflammatory Polyps in Ears by Mary
"Robert E. Lee" wrote in message ... How can one avoid such a medical disaster when adopting one of these "shelter cats"? Apparently a pre-adoption trip to the vet wouldn't have done it. None of this was apparent on the...

Cat Loves Refrigerator by Ruby Tuesday
I wonder if anyone else has experienced this. Usually when I open the refrigerator door, Mico sticks his head inside, and I have to push him out. But three times now, he's gotten the better of me, and wiggled on top of the last shelf, and gone to the back of the fridge! It's not like my...
