Update: KFC by
Christina Websell
She is improving slowly. After her pheasant goodies she seems stronger and
takes a little bit of interest at mealtimes.
She needed encouragement to eat every few hours so I took the last two days
off work as leave time so I could do it.
Today she has eaten some posh cat pate that I warmed up...

Lots of purrs needed here by
Pat
I'm in rough shape here today, and Baby Eyes picked a terrible time to
disappear.
About 24 hours ago I was riding a horse that got excited and ran out of
control. I decided to bail out before she got going at top speed. Landed on
my right side and took brunt of fall with head, hip and ribcage....

Preventing mats by
---MIKE---
I had to have Tiger shaved back in June to get rid of a lot of bad mats.
I want to get a grooming brush that will help me to prevent future mats.
What is the best one for this purpose (Zoom Groom)? TIA

Added photos by
Tanada
I finally got around to adding some more photos to my yahoo album. I
added two folders, we met, and cat furnishings which included the
enclosure and the cat tree. I also added photos of Adam and Mandy to
the "Friends and Family" album, more cat photos to the "Furry ones"
album, and added some...

Truck Purrs by
jmcquown
Or should I say mechanic purrs? Or purrs for John?
John called this morning. Even though he had his truck completely
overhauled (by that I mean everything wrong fixed) before he drove up to
Kansas, there's another problem. It's either the starter, solonoid or
ignition switch (it's a 10 year old...

I'm the worse daddy in the world! by
Victor Martinez
This morning I decided it had been long enough and it was time to dose
the Fantastic Seven (TM) with Revolution (a topical medication for
fleas, ticks, worms, and all kinds of parasites). I got the seven vials
and put them in my pocket. Fez and Rufous took it and didn't even notice
it! Such good...

OT - Perfect Gifts? by
CatNipped[_4_]
What is the gift that you loved most, and what is the gift that *would* be
perfect for you/ Also, just for fun, what is the *worst* gift you've ever
gotten?
I absolutely loved the decorative cat plates - they're gorgeous and
thoughtful. It took Ben quite a while to track down all the plates...

Spider by
Christina Websell
I am not fond of them.
Boyfie was asleep on my lap, suddenly woke and jumped
down. Some patting of the floor went on and then he chomped it. Good lad
;-)
He can hear everything including spiders walkng around.
I cannot tolerate large spiders, he can. He just puts his paw on them and
eats...

Could we have "Get your furry butt home" purrs for Princess, please? by
Phoenix
Princess, our 16-year-old Siamese, had started losing weight, so we have
an appointment for her with TED (thinking it is most likely a dental
problem). Which meant that tonight we were going to make sure she stayed
in so we could get her there. (While all our cats are indoor/outdoor,
she is old...

Human Purr Request by
Az
I'm mostly a lurker, but I've seen what the power of purr can do. You guys
and gals have some mighty strong purrs! This request is for my husband and
I. At the beginning of Oct, we found ourselves out of a job (we had both
worked for the same company). Thus far, we have been unable to find any...

The TED visit by
Christina Websell
I was so anxious that Boyfie should not get a clue about it that I waited
outside for Claire to arrive with Tigger so she didn't ring the doorbell.
Unfortunately she was late as Tigger had done the star shaped thing and she
couldn't get him into his carrier for ages.
I told her not to speak as...

A last farm walk by
Victor Martinez
Here's the latest newsletter from Boggy Creek Farm. It's a tribute to Tubby.
April 5, 2004
A Last Farm Walk
Greetings Friends of the Farm,
If I'd known it would be his last farm walk, I would have
carried him. Instead, when he paused, I called, brightly, "Tubby,
come along! Farm walk!"

"Get your butt home NOW" purrs needed!! by
[email protected]
Smudge didn't come home last night! She has never done that before.
Usually she comes running up to me when she sees my car pull up to
the sidewalk in front of my building. Sometimes she's not around at
that moment, but has always shown up within a half hour or 45 minutes
of my arrival home. Last...

Jack Russell next door by
Christina Websell
It's driving me mad. Our houses are attached and every time they leave it it
barks for hours. and howls. Weekends are the worst, they leave it alone
all day.
I do expect a dog to bark if I have one next door, but it's getting too
much. They recently had a baby and the dog seems to have gone...

LOL - well, to some. Do you love Lady Gaga or hate Lady Gaga - there seems
to be no middle ground when it comes to her.

Being adopted by every cat in town by
Dhelderman
About 4 months ago after many weeks of thinking I decided that it was time
for me to get a cat. Where I live you have to pay a 200 dollar deposit per
animal. So I saved paid the deposit and got a little kitten from my best
friend. She is nothing but pure evil, her name is sadie, we call...
