Of Winged Kittens by
Gandalf[_2_]
In the meadow by the Rainbow Bridge
A saint is taking care
He's handing out the kibble
And brushing poodles' hair
He scritches all the kitties' ears
And makes the ferals tame
He even feeds the bunnies
Saint Francis is his name
Now sometimes on a foggy day

OT - Taste Buds (again) by
CatNipped[_4_]
Sorry to impose this off-topic post on the group again, but this is getting
really, really bad.
As most of you know, I'm struggling desperately to gain some weight, but to
do that I have to eat, and I can't eat with this constant bad taste in my
mouth. Even brushing my tongue vigorously with a...

Where is Everyone? Roll Call. by
CatNipped[_4_]
Has UseNet finally been left behind / made redundant by Facebook? It's sad
because it outlasted so many other internet innovations and messaging
systems since the old "bulletin board" days on which I started. It seems
now to be forsaken for Facebook - adding another few billions of dollars...

Lori! WTF! - Regulars Can Delete by
CatNipped[_4_]
Ah, the heck with it - I'm so (too) much of an open book here I may as well
just repost it all in condensed form - everyone here has heard it in bits
and pieces and can just ignore it please (and, regulars, since I promised I
wouldn't bring this up here any more, I apologize, and please hit...

Why do they like Chinese tea so much? by
Pat[_3_]
We cannot leave half-finished cups of tea sitting around anywhere or
else the cats will stick a paw into them and then lap tea off the paw.
We drink mostly Jasmine and Oolong, occasionally Hojicha or some
other, but never "regular" english tea, so we don't know if they like
that kind or not. They...

At Last and Much Too Soon, the Parrots are Relocated by
Will in New Haven
We knew we should give up the birds. Even if we had unusually long and
healthy life-spans they would need new homes eventually. Their new
Mommy loves them and so does her little boy. They have two dogs and
four rats, so they are certified animal-lovers. And we can VISIT.
Initially, Eddy was going...

OMFG NOMEN!!!!!! Dear gawds I don't even think I should tell this to Ben, I
think he'd hunt you down and steal your ticket (singular - forget about me!
;) I *KNOW* you're walking on cloud nine- what's the air like up there?
Congrats, my friend, it couldn't have happened to a nicer guy.

Boyfie & his dry food (gross warning) by
Christina Websell
The boy loves his dry food, but I feed him gooshie with a tablespoon of dry
now and again separately when he insists.
I'd just run out of a box yesterday when he insisted on some dry. There was
another box of a different flavour in the cupboard (I thought it was full, I
always have a box in)...

Holly's 15th adoption day by
MaryL
We just celebrated Holly's 15th adoption day (Nov. 24, just in time for
USA's Thanksgiving). She has brought me 15 years of joy and I am hoping for
many more--truly a good way to celebrate Thanksgiving.

Kitty Thanksgiving? by
jmcquown[_2_]
For those of you who are celebrating Thanksgiving this week, whether you're
in the U.S. or are expats or who have friends who want a "traditional" Usian
Thanksgiving... what about your cats?
Persia doesn't get people food. She never has (except what she managed to
steal off my plate when she...

My granddaughter (I'm sure you remember my granddaughter when I was keeping
everyone up-to-date during her battle with Non-Hotchkins Lymphoma). She's
now very well, back to playing baseball, which she loves, and attending
college.
This is a picture of her almost two years ago right before they...

OT - Mini Rant, Fast Food by
CatNipped[_4_]
I absolutely *HATE* McDonalds. Of course, perversely that's the *ONLY* fast
food place that DH likes. It's not just the food bad, but the service is
horrendous (we sat in line at the drive-through for, I swear, *45 MINUTES!
We stopped there on the way home from the doctor's office and (needing...

Hey, Give me some! by
CatNipped[_4_]
I was eating a bowl of cereal this morning and Archer was laying next to me
with his head on my leg. He was wai-ting, waaai-ting, waaaaaai-ting. He
finally got tired of waiting and batted my arm, HARD! (no claws) As if to
say, hey, that's enough, leave me some!!! ; Then the ingrate took...

Sarsi shows how long the heating has been off by
Lesley
In our hallway there's a point where the heating pipe runs under the
floor that happens to be right next to a radiator, this time of year
that's where you're likely to find Sarsi crashed out...When I say
crashed out I mean stretched out flat with as much of her body in
contact with the floor as it...
