After the New Year fireworks by
Christina Websell
Boyfie insisted on going out. I should have have said no as I am now up at
4 a.m waiting for him to come in.
Lucky I dont have to go to work.
Sometimes he really pushes his luck.
If he isn't in half an hour he'll have to sleep in the conservatory, which
is cold. 4.30 am is enough to stay up.I...

extra attention for Samwise & Lucy Lu by
ann791
I was home yesterday. I'm at our store Tues - Sat. Samwsie and Lucy were
acting strange this weekend. They knew something was wrong. Cinnamon
wasn't there. Yesterday they got extra attention from me. By last night
they were more like themselves.
I had been trying to keep them from bothering...

Persia-versary! (long) by
jmcquown[_2_]
Tommorrow, January 6th, marks 12 years since this beautiful, persistent,
insistent cat *demanded* I let her inside.
Most of you know the tale. It was a bitterly cold winter afternoon when
this grey cat started crying at my back door. And yes, I tried to shoo
her away. (Silly me! But I'd...

Quarterly? Semi-annually? Annually? by
Mark Edwards
Well, had to do a reasonably decent clean up, in preparation of the
exterminators being here tomorrow (Who, me, putting it off until nearly
the last minute?). This did involve some vacuuming.
Now, Apache has been with us nearly a whole year. The reason I mention
this, is that when I started up...

It gets worse (Still OT) by
Lesley
I've got my debit card back in 2 days and in 3 the first of my credit
cards surfaced but Dave hasn't seen his new debit card so decided to
call the bank (and also complain about the guy)
Guess what? His bank have no record of any request to stop the card as
far as they are concerned it's still...

King Prawns (again) by
jmcquown[_2_]
While at the store yesterday (not my regular grocery store) I saw a bag
of large frozen prawns/shrimp. Turned the bag over, sure enough,
"Product of Thailand". Needless to say I didn't buy them.

Update on Cinnamon by
ann791
Peter took her to the vet this morning. They are keeping her for a few
days. One thing they found is she is dehydrated and they are giving her
fluids. They are also running some tests.
The vet will call us this afternoon.
The thing I like about this vet's office is it is also an emergency...

Purr request by

and not eating much. She is almost 18 years old and has other medical
issues. Even tho she does not go out the winters are hard for her. This
morning she did come to DH for a treat as he was getting his lunch ready

Amber surprised me by
---MIKE---
Amber has a step stool next to my bed so she can get up there easily.
This morning she got off the bed and then decided she wanted to get back
up. She was at the other end from the stool. For a minute, she stood
there and I told her "you can't jump up". Then SHE DID - with no
apparent...
