OT Clean Jokes by
Matthew
I was in the Express Lane at the store, quietly fuming. Completely ignoring
the sign, the woman ahead of me had slipped into the check-out line pushing
a cart piled high with groceries.
Imagine my delight when the cashier beckoned the woman to come
forward, looked into the cart and asked...

[OT] museum guard dog destroys teddy bear collection by
John F. Eldredge
A Doberman pinscher, which was supposed to be guarding hundreds of
antique teddy bears at the Wookey Hole Caves children's museum in
England, instead chewed up all of the teddy bears. The collection had
been valued at close to one million American dollars. One of the
bears had originally belonged...

Interior decoration revisited by
Marina
Some of you may remember Miranda's insistence that the blankie I had in
her carrier was not supposed to be there, but in the shower stall. Every
day, I would fold it and put it in her carrier, but would later find it
in my shower stall. Sometimes I would catch her dragging it from the
carrier -...

Cleo by

Thanks to all who have sent us condolences, it is very much appreciated by
both of us. It has been a very emotional week, one which I don't wish to
repeat in a hurry. This morning we buried Cleo in our back garden, she was
wrapped in her favourite sheepskin rug and her special towel, this...

Successful paw soak! by
Monique Y. Mudama
We swirled some salt into a small bowl of warm water as per TED's
instructions. DH and I both held Oscar; I focused on holding her body
in place while DH focused on holding her paw in the water. She didn't
struggle, but she was purring, I think in the "I really don't like

Leading Jill Outside the Box by
Julie Cook
Jill,
I keep thinking we need to find you a way to make money that doesn't involve
interviewing with someone who will tell you no. That means thinking outside
the box.
The first idea I had was as a pet sitter. My pet sitter gets $25.00 when
she comes once a day and $40 for twice a day visits....

back from TED's by
Monique Y. Mudama
TED says Oscar's paw is probably going through another phase of
trying to work out fiberglass. She said it can take years for that
kind of thing to fully work its way out. So, in the meantime, we just
need to put a collar on her when she starts nibbling at it. If it
does start looking worse and...
