To learn French in France, I found this great school, located both in Annecy and Chambéry, in the heart of the Alps. Given the number of activities and the surroundings I thought I would share this ressource with others.

Trapping Update - Frustrated! by
CatNipped
Well, so far we've trapped the afore-mentioned possum, a neighbor's *very*
large, *very* angry gray and white cat, and *TWO* racoons (in the trap at
the same time!!!). But we have not seen hide nor hair of the little gray
cat with the too tight flea collar!! I'm going to talk with the rescue...

Truck Purrs by
jmcquown
Or should I say mechanic purrs? Or purrs for John?
John called this morning. Even though he had his truck completely
overhauled (by that I mean everything wrong fixed) before he drove up to
Kansas, there's another problem. It's either the starter, solonoid or
ignition switch (it's a 10 year old...

cat book " Asleep in the Sun" by
Norm
Sometimes being *way* behind in reading has benefits. In the NYT Book
Review 10/26/97 :-) there was a nice review of a cat photo book so I
logged into Amazon and bought it for a coupla bucks. Someone here can
tell me post-facto whether it's worth it I'm sure, heh. and there are
more available...

Mating issue by
Sherry
I am currently considering the purchase of a male and female cat of the same
litter.
Is there any issue/problem for cats from the same litter to mate with one
another? In other words, are siblings mating ok? Any problems or effects
of their offspring?
Thanks
This post smells a little...

Read the headline by
Magic Mood Jeep©
If you follow the below link, and read the headline only, you'll probably
get a chuckle, like I did. When I first read the headline, I said "Well,
DUH, whadja expect?". The story is sad, but still, the headline...giggles

What on earth was this cat saying?? All I could hear was "get out of
my way" at the very end. It was very bizarre.

Invisible cat by
Christina Websell
The weather isn't nice today, it's been raining almost all day but Boyfriend
decided he'd like to go in and out, anyway.
I just let him in, hopefully for the night, shut the door behind him, he
examined his food dishes, neither dry not wet suited and he went into the
lounge.
That's when he totally...

Job purrs update by
Dan M
Nancy has been asked to come in to interview for one of the jobs open to
here. I believe the job would suit her quite well, though it still
doesn't pay as much as she'd like to make. But I *do* believe that she's
the best candidate for the job.
She's set up the interview for Tuesday.
She says she...

Tough Call by
Bill Stock
I was using the Treadmill tonight, which just happens to be in the poop room
(no terdmill jokes), when Smoke decided she had to use the facilities. She's
not crazy about doing her business when someone is on the "silly machine",
but she's very good about doing her business. So I turned my head to...

Bad Fez! by

I was in Phoenix at a diversity conference this week, I just came back a
little while ago. This morning I called Tom and he told me there was a
problem with the fish tank. It seems one of the cats got into the space
underneath the tank and stepped on the button that cut off all
electricity to the...

For Helen Francis by
Kalynnda Berens
Helen,
I don't know what Francis' kidney values were, but a very high
creatinine value is common when cats are first seen with chronic renal
failure. Usually, after treatment with IV fluids or sub-q fluids, the
values come down from the "system shock" level to the "real" level. A
good site for CRF...

Few more snippets by
LOL
Lula has a thing for jewelry. I habitually wear a watch, a bracelet,
and my wedding ring, and she frequently seizes one of these with her
teeth and yanks hard, hard enough that she'll succeed in breaking the
bracelet one of these days. I can't figure out, though, whether she
disapproves of...

Are you okay, Baha? perhaps just too busy to post I hope. Brandy must be

*sighs* by
gracecat
I'm ovulating this weekend.
We're going to have another child, someday. But it just... it's difficult. I
can't imagine life with a single living child. But I can't *not* feel like
this is just a kneejerk reaction, a "replacement" of sorts. Guilt,
confusion....
Don't really have a point to this...

CALL 911! Wait - it's just the cat by
TBird
The other night, as we lounged on the couch quietly watching TV, Sweetie
came tearing down the stairs at light speed, turned hard to avoid slamming
herself into the kitchen cabinets, did a Bugs Bunny claw burnout on the
tiles (why they weren't flying loose behind her and hitting the fridge, I'm
not...
