[OT] Finding Neverland

Just watched "Finding Neverland" (serious tear-jerker) and was wondering if
anyone here knows how much of it may be true. It said it was "inspired by"
true events (not eve a "based on"). Does anyone know if any of this really
happened to the real J. M. Barrie?

Well, Hollywood "biographies" of famous people are not
exactly noted for ther accuracy! (Not unless they've
changed considerably in the past twenty years or so.)

I LOVE Johnny Depp. Things *like* that did happen to Barrie, but not
exactly that way. He did have a friendship with this family, but the
husband/father stuck around for a lot longer than in the movie, for
example.
