know how you feel...on may 21 i took in 6 kittens that were left behind
a school...2 were sorta ok in box but 4 were soaked...picked them out of the woods i hand raised from day old(cords still on) and managed to save three...the other three died(two on day five one at 2 weeks old.. they just had thier first birthday(may 21) its unbelivable how many stories like this are like this...what doess it take to just not take in the cat or GET IT FIXED...area im in is like this...alot of unfixed cats and free breeding. i guess the lucky kittens get found but jsut shouldnt come down to luck. good job you did with kittens:) |

I APPLAUD YOU AND YOUR SUCCESS ON HAVING ANY SURVIVE. LOTS OF WORK AND LOTS OF LOVE TOO, I KNOW. I MADE A COPY OF MY POST AND TOOK ONE TO PETCO AND PETSMART TO PLACE ON THE TABLE DURING KITTY ADOPTION WEEKENDS. HOPEFULLY IT WILL DO SOME GOOD. THANKS FOR REPLYING AND SHARING YOUR STORY WITH ME. IT MEANT ALOT. I WAS IN LINE AT PETSMART WITH 5 INSTANT ADOPTIVE KITTY PARENTS. ONE LADY SAID SHE HAD 5 DUMPED ON HER DOORSTEP, WIT A NOTE THAT MAYBE HER CAT WOULD FOSTER MOTHER THEM. HER CAT IS A TOMCAT. SO, SHE LIKE ME, IS PLAYING MOTHER, AS ARE MANY OTHER FOSTER PARENTS RIGHT NOW, BY CHOICE, LUCK OR BY KINDHEARTED CIRCUMSTANCE.
