signs of pregnancy
I was just wondering what the signs are that a cat is pregnant and when
those signs appear. I know that their nipples appear more obvious at some point but at what point is that most likely? When do they usually appear rounder? I'm sure this depends on the number of kittens but is there an average? Is appetite another indicator? MTIA Jane |

False pregnancies do occur, but real pregnancies should be monitored by the vet in case there are any problems and to ensure that the queen gets the proper nutrition, vitamins, minerals, and all that. The queen should be tested for diseases such as FPV before birthing, as they can be passed to kittens. I am not a breeder nor do I advocate breeding in most contexts. Far too many people irresponsibly breed their cats already or just neglect to alter them.] -- -- ~kaeli~ Does the name Pavlov ring a bell? http://www.ipwebdesign.net/wildAtHeart http://www.ipwebdesign.net/kaelisSpace |
