Sleepy eyes

Our visiting ginger tom has dark crusty bits in the corners of his
eyes. He looks like he has just got up and forgotten to clean his
eyes. The bits of crust won't wipe out with soft cloth.

Can anything be done about it?

Soak the cloth in warm water and hold it gently over the eye to loosen the
gunk. Then try to wipe it.

Assuming he lets you. ;)
