Cotton and her tail.
After six years you would think that Cotton would know that her tail is part of her. Still she reaches around and tries to attack the tip of the tail. Silly girl!

cotton goes to the vet today
She is due for her shots. She will probably be afraid that the carrier will mean going back to the shelter but I hope I can keep her calm for the ride.

cotton is home
Finally, cotton is home after a month at the shelter (i have been in and out of the hospital with stomach flu). Hopefully i will be able to stay home now.

First of many?
I always ring a dinner bell when i put the food down. Cotton just sits where she is as if to say "so what?". When SHE is ready, she comes and samples her food.

I have a new electric stairlift. When I am riding it, Cotton likes to jump up on my lap to ride along with me. Silly girl.

You can say what you want but ANY dry food is bad for boy cats. They need the extra moisture that is contained in wet food (75 %) even if they drink a lot.

Ultra GuardPlus for cats
Don't use Hartz products on cats. Some cats have gotten sick and even died from Hartz products. Frontlne and Revolution are safe flea products.

happy birthday Tiger.
This would have been Tiger's 16th birthday. He went to the RB in November when. The vet found a grouth that could not be removed. I miss the big boy.

Meaning of Meow
Cotton doesn't meow at all. She "chirps" with her mouth closed. When i put her breakfast down, she inspects it and goes to the window, She comes back later to eat some of it.

OT The bears are awake
The bears we have are not usually dangerous if you leave the cubs alone. They are hungry and looking for food. Bird feeders are a good sourse.

This morning a neighbor was walking his dogs and saw a bear walking down my driveway. I have taken my seed feeder in which will spoil Cotton's "Tv".

I took fosamax for five years until I started having chest pains and heartburn. Now, instead I get injections of Xgeva which so far has had no side effects.
