Me too, cat & I are both diabetic. Also reuse lancets in both cases.
Separate glucose meters & lancets for me & cat. Stuck myself a couple
of times with the cat's lancet, also once with his insulin...

We had a cat with that problem some years ago and he also had a
stomach tube for a while. Took a lot of patience over several weeks
duration doing the tube feeding, but he did eventually recover....
