Default Budgeting Feliway?

My two beloved puds have the run of my small house and have
lived here for over eight years. My larger 10+ year old guy-cat
had been ambushing and attacking my smaller 10+ year-old gal-cat
for the last few years. Not always, but often enough and
alarmingly. They mostly get along, but still, during these fits,
the way the smaller cat sounded, the interaction seemed to go
beyond playing.

The first thing I would do is clip the aggressor's claws. Keep its
claws clipped. That's so easy and obviously helpful. Use a
powerful flashlight and some toenail clippers. Put him between
your legs and sit on him until you are finished.

In my opinion, that's the easiest effective solution. Not perfect,
but definitely helps. And of course I don't mean declaw. Never
declaw, but clipping is fine.

Good luck.
