I'm right up there with _that_. I don't know where you live, but if
you're in the gulf-coast region of the US, ain't no exterminator gonna
be able to take care of the water bug problem.

I live between a lake and a bay, these things get in the strangest ways and
hide.
Garage door, attic, etc.
I had an exterminator bomb the place, the cat still finds a way to find them


The exterminator can't do it because they don't actually _live_ in the
house, for the most part. They come in from the outside to get water,
shelter, etc.

I'm impressed that the cat catches them. My cat felt the same way
about them that I do - he came crying to me once and when I checked
things out I found one of those horrible creatures in his food dish.
I read him the Riot Act about what exactly it means to be a
"predator"...right after I instantaneously teleported myself into
another room and up onto the dining room table.
